The area I wanted to try a place that places the pasta in a cheese wheel before they send out to guests. I did find the location a little smaller that what I envisioned. Young staff seemed in charge. They seemed to have a steady stream of.orders which showed me that they had a decent following. The downside was the indoor and lack of ac. We were hoping to be out of the heat but we were walking into a very warm facility. The food choices were decent and most had great flavor. So would I go back? Yes as long as the AC is working. For this dining experience I give Zesty Olives 3.8 stars...

**EXCEPTIONAL** The family had the b3st first time experience. Friendly service and very comfortable atmosphere with great open booth seating. We got 2 of the "Pasta Flights" and they were sensational!!! They use three different types of sauces and you choose the three toppings option to go with it. The fettuccine was perfectly cooked, the pesto sauce was extremely fresh tasting and the vodka style sauce had a sweetness to it that kept you going back for another bite. I had meatball, garli, and Honey chicken as my 3 toppings. Meatball is not traditional style, taste like maybe just one type of beef but it is good and tender. The garlic was very 💪 strong which I loved, but a little salty. The honey chicken was the bomb, sweet and paired extremely well with the pasta. We will definitely be coming back!

I went to Zesty Olives for the first time last night and it definitely won’t be my last! The food was amazing, but the service truly is the reason I would go back. The two ladies working were so sweet, kind, and genuinely helpful… you can tell they really understand what great customer service looks like.
I tried the pasta flight (so fun and so good!) and my mom had the keto bowl, which she loved. Everything was fresh and flavorful.
And the drinks were SO tasty!
We both left saying we’ll absolutely be back 😊

The food was really good. We got the create your own. So depending on what you got but mine was very flavorful especially with the added truffle oil. However, the service were not that friendly. Just ok. They did not even have ice. Nothing spectacular and bad about the place. If I was in the area I might come back if im craving for that kinda pasta. But won't drive that far for that.

Zesty Olives was one of the highlights of our visit to Dana Point. Watching our pasta being tossed in a giant wheel of Parmesan cheese was such a fun touch, and the finished dish was outstanding—perfectly cooked, creamy, flavorful, and generously topped. Everything tasted fresh and homemade.
If you’re looking for a great meal with friendly service and a memorable dining experience, Zesty Olives is definitely worth a stop. We’ll be back the next time we’re in town!
