Yuzu is an absolute gem in Laguna Beach. From the moment you walk in, the space feels modern and inviting, and definitely one of those new hidden spots that instantly sets the tone for a great meal. The sushi is outstanding. The nigiri and sashimi are incredibly fresh and beautifully prepared, and the special rolls are creative. The quality of the fish is amazing. The cocktails are a highlight on their own, beautifully crafted and unique, especially the sake-based drinks. Service was friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which made the evening even better. Highly recommend if you’re looking for fresh sushi and delicious rolls.
Yuzu sets the bar in South Orange County. They truly deliver on all levels. The menu is diverse and well laid out. All of the fish we tried was fresh and proper temperature. Their presentations are both functional and pretty. Service is friendly, efficient and not overbearing. We dined on Valentine's Day and although it was quite busy, they execute. Highly suggest Yuzu over any other sushi places around. I've tried just about all of them from San Clemente to Newport. This is our go to spot and can't wait to dine again soon.
Love this place. Their sushi is fresh, exotic and simply delicious. The ambiance is modern and the location is great. In a couple of visits we tried almost all their rolls and although they were all amazing, my favorite was millionaire roll. Can’t wait to go back!
We are obsessed with Yuzu in Laguna Beach! From the moment you walk in, the warm and friendly service sets the tone, truly top tier! Every dish is out of this world; the sushi is unbelievably fresh and high-quality, putting the big name spots to shame. Their cocktails are also a huge highlight. Specially crafted with their made in-house Yuzu sake. *insider tip: try their Yuzu Lemon Drop! Each visit feels like a treat and keeps getting better. My friends, family, and I can’t stop talking about it. Yuzu has officially become our new go-to sushi spot!
As someone who doesn’t eat fish, it was so refreshing to see a veggie roll with more than just cucumber and avocado! We tried the “Leaf Me Alone” roll, and it was so creative, definitely not your average veggie roll. The crispy rice with avocado, Brussel sprout chips, spicy edamame, and veggie tempura were all amazing. I also enjoyed a lovely glass of wine with my meal. Our friends who do eat fish said their dishes were delicious and they left very satisfied. The atmosphere is clean and inviting, the location is great, and the staff is super friendly. Highly recommend for vegetarians or anyone looking for fresh, creative sushi!
