Great eatery in Dana point! Wide menu variety for all diet types. Hot honey chicken and shrimp n grits notable selections. Good juiced selections a tad on the spendy side. Good cinnamon roles. Staff seem super rushed even when not busy with average service times make for an interesting vibe. Nice indoor/outdoor seating config. Dogs welcome. Worth frequenting .

First timer! Known for breakfast but we came for lunch. Outstanding food. I had their “fully loaded” PATTY MELT 🍔 and it was (not exaggerating) top 3 ever. My wife had their “TriTip tacos” 🌮 which were delicious. Our server (Cori) was very friendly and helpful (eg trying their homemade spicy sauce 🌶️). This spot is a definite YES and we will be returning to try more of the menu. Nice job!! 🤙

What a neat and cute concept! Paired with the ocean breeze, 10/10! Service was great! Their latte’s are coffee forward which is great if youre not a fan of today’s added sweetness to everything so, 10/10 “Lawnmower Punch” cocktail was so easy to drink, definitely Get if you enjoy sangria’s! Blue corned waffles 20/10! Tri tip selections were great! 10/10. -I do wish the quesadilla was more “crisp” so i could pick it up to eat, got heavy/semi-soggy after a few minutes, still good flavors tho!

This was my first time dining at White Rooster, and I was immediately impressed by the attention to detail and craftsmanship behind the entire experience. From the thoughtfully curated menu to the presentation and execution of each dish, it’s clear this is a restaurant that takes pride in creating signature offerings designed to impress. We ordered the famous smoked tri tip tacos, and they absolutely lived up to the hype. The meat was incredibly tender, packed with flavor, and practically melted in your mouth with every bite. For something sweet, we shared the banana bread skillet topped with brown butter mousse, which was rich, decadent, and unforgettable. For drinks, we ordered the pour over coffee and could immediately tell the beans were freshly ground and brewed with care. We also tried the Chef’s Cold Brew with specialty cold foam, which was smooth, refreshing, and beautifully crafted. The quality of the coffee was just as impressive as the food. The service was friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our visit. Combined with the relaxed coastal atmosphere, it creates a space that feels equally perfect for families, couples, and groups of friends. The food was so incredible that I completely forgot to take photos before diving in, which is probably the highest compliment I can give. White Rooster Café exceeded expectations in every way, and we are already looking forward to coming back.
