Wow, the sushi and combinations are amazing. Quality fresh and delicious. We had a Nigiri 12 piece with a roll, a handful of appetizers, including items I’ve never seen on a menu before. You can tell the chefs have pride on what they serve and how they present. The Awesome roll truly was awesome! The atmosphere is welcoming, cozy and has a great vibe. They don’t take reservations. My only feedback is we wrote down our name on the waiting list for 2 along with a phone number. We asked a server if they would call us when our table is ready and they said yes. So we walked across the street to a local bar for a beer while we waited. We ended up calling the restaurant to ask about our status, turns out they don’t call you. I would return to this place in a heartbeat. Great first date spot to if you are looking for something casual and great quality food!
good place if you are craving sushi and you are near Old Town Orange. good service and clean space. They have a good lunch deal as well.
Was looking for a decent sushi place to eat and I fell in love with this place, the staff is very friendly and the sushi is amazing. It's not your old school traditional sushi, but the flavors are incredible. I loved all their rolls, but my favorite was bowser roll due to the spicy and slightly bitter taste in it. The alcohol is affordable and have a pretty good variety for a small restaurant. Cons: small parking but just comes with the location. I was suspicious that I might have liked it the first time because I was hungry, so I went back a few more times to confirm, and that is why I'm writing this review.
Love the food at Wazabi! The fish is always extremely fresh and high quality. The cut rolls are also huge, which makes their lunch special a great deal. My favorite place to eat near the Circle!
The food here is delicious! The fish is always fresh and the presentation is beautiful! I even had a specialty roll made incorrectly and they took it back and made a new one. It's not a large establishment so sometimes there is a decent wait due to lack of tables, but the wait isn't ever very long. Great sushi and sashimi and great service, I highly recommend!
