Beyond their size, small businesses are defined by their spirit. And at the helm are their intrepid founders—scrappy, ambitious, and resilient. They invent and build things despite uncertainty, because it’s what drives them. Their risks lead to innovation that moves the world forward. And we need them.
Stepping into The Vibe on PCH felt instantly invigorating. The space is clean, bright, and utterly welcoming, a perfect backdrop for a delightful meal. With easy parking nearby, the only challenge was choosing what culinary delight to experience. But let me tell you, the California Cobb is a decision you will not regret; it’s not just a salad, it's a masterpiece that redefines what "fresh" truly means. Forget everything you think you know about a Cobb. The Vibe’s take is an inspired elevation that will genuinely excite your palate: The Greens: They are the foundation of perfection. Light, crisp, and unbelievably fresh, tasting as if they were plucked from a sun-drenched garden just moments before serving. The Unexpected Depth: The kitchen brilliantly enhances the typical ingredients with cubes of warm, roasted butternut squash. This savory sweetness, paired with creamy avocado, diced tomatoes, and a subtle hint of coconut, adds a layer of depth and texture that is truly remarkable. The Finishing Touch: Every ingredient is beautifully coated in a savory spice blend and a tangy-sweet balsamic dressing. It harmonizes the warm squash with the cool greens, creating a bite that is balanced, exciting, and absolutely delicious. I was also treated to a complimentary slice of their delicious & healthy banana bread, rice, & oolong ice tea. This salad is a testament to simple, high-quality ingredients treated with vision. If you’re looking for a dish that is both satisfying and profoundly refreshing, the California Cobb at The Vibe on PCH is a must-try experience.
This place is amazing! DELICIOUS VEGAN FOOD 💯 Incredible bright plant filled atmosphere. 🪴 Wonderful, kind, helpful staff 🥰 20/10 (Breakfast Burrito, Berry Protien Waffle & Iron Man Smootie shown 😋)
Wow! This unassuming little fresh food cafe was shockingly good! We tried it for the first time and will definitely be back! The early bird tacos with housemade tortillas were HUGE and so flavorful! The chickn n waffles is a MUST try! And they even gave us a slice of homemade banana bread to try! The staff was so kind and super fast service! So glad Dana Point has an excellent plant based option! Thank you Kat and Ray for a great breakfast!
Vibe has officially KILLED the VIBE! Literally, from years of success as a health foods plant based, anti inflammatory menu, to adding “humane meat”. I have never been one to be a plant based activist but this one really showed the sell out of the owner and what they care more about $5 extra for a burger to taint the entire kitchen with venison and eggs. There’s 3 different locations in OC for years and I really wonder how much more in sales / profit they are making for these new “humane” products. Goes to show, chasing the almighty dollar. Might as well add wild hunted Kalua pork since you guys are shipping meat from the Hawaiian lands. Best regards 🤙🏽
This review is long overdue, but I have to share how much I love this place—it’s quickly become one of my favorite spots. As someone who’s newly diagnosed with Celiac disease, finding a restaurant that I can trust to be safe is such a relief. This place not only offers gluten-free options, but they also ensure that their food is cross-contamination safe, which is incredibly important for me. On top of that, I have a mild allergy to eggs and dairy, and I’m so grateful that they cater to that as well. I don’t have anaphylactic reactions, but avoiding these allergens is crucial to preventing unpleasant stomach issues, and here I never have to worry. Everything is gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free, and grain-free. The food here is truly incredible. It’s bold, flavorful, and has a fantastic texture—something that’s not always easy to achieve when avoiding gluten, dairy, and eggs. While the prices are on the higher side, it’s absolutely worth it. You’re getting high-quality, well-crafted dishes that taste amazing and are made with real care and creativity. One of my go-to dishes has been the chicken and waffles. I honestly couldn’t tell that the chicken wasn’t real meat—it was that good! The breakfast burrito is another standout. It’s huge, packed with flavor, and the salsa that accompanies it adds just the right amount of spice, giving the whole dish a nice kick. What I love even more is that the restaurant is fully vegan or vegetarian, using imitation meat products that are so tasty, it’s hard to believe they’re not the real thing. The only downside is the parking situation, which can be a bit tricky. The lot fills up quickly, and street parking can sometimes be a hassle, but trust me, it’s well worth the effort for the food. And speaking of worth it, their smoothies are fantastic—refreshing and delicious, they’re the perfect complement to any meal. The service is also top-notch. Every time I walk in, I’m greeted with a smile, and the staff always has great suggestions for new items or their personal favorites. The inside is always clean and inviting, making for a really pleasant dining experience. It’s truly a vibe every time I visit. I’m so grateful to have found this place, and I can’t wait to explore more of their menu. It’s a real gem, and I wish there were more restaurants like this that cater to food allergies while still offering incredible, flavorful dishes.
