Upscale Resale is a thrift store that benefits South County Outreach clients facing food insecurity and homelessness throughout Orange County. The shop sells a variety of gently used and vintage items, including clothing and accessories, jewelry, home décor, furniture, toys, and more.
Ok prices. I've seen salvation army's that charge more than they do so.... Quality dishes and knickknacks. Not much selection as far as clothing - They had a ½ off sale, so maybe they're fazing it out. Doesn't have that used smell (only by the shoes - bound to happen), so that was an automatic Plus! VERY organized - absolutely love! Would definitely visit again.
This is my absolute favorite thrift store! I try to come here at least once a week and there’s always great deals. They have customer appreciation where you get three items half off almost every other month. I feel like they’re holding a promotion all the time and the people that work here are so kind and helpful every time. Love what you do for the community and for my closet! ❤️
I recently paid a visit to Upscale Resale as I have in the past. After perusing their items (which seem to have dramatically increased) I purchased a few small items, one of them an electric pencil sharpener. When I got home, I was excited to try it out. I noticed there were pencil shavings in the tray, and was never even dumped out. I plugged it in, got some pencils to try, but was disappointed to find out that while the blade mechanism turned, none of the pencils were able to be sharpened. Not even a little bit. Obviously very dull blades or no blades at all. It wouldn't take much to test an item before they put it out. At least Goodwill does. I don't feel that you should put the onus of testing something on the customer. At checkout, they proudly love to stamp the receipt with an ALL SALES FINAL, No Refunds, No Exchanges. Maybe they don't care whether the dirty items they sell there work or not. Who knows? Maybe that will happen to you...
There is nothing upscale about this establishment . Everything is old and over priced. Ex: Used Dash waffle maker is $12. Really? A new one is $10. -12. Used Shoes $17. wow! I understand times are getting harder and this place is probably on consignment … bit someone needs to reevaluate the prices here.
The name speaks for itself. We were impressed with the setup displays as we walked in the door and quickly greeted with a hello from behind the counter. Very clean, not thrift store smelly and pleasantly decorated with thrift items. Small men's clothing area but plenty for women. Alot of household items and worth the rummaging for special items. Not a reseller delight and not meant for that purpose. Enjoyed the shop!
