The food was amazing! I took my friend here as a special treat while she was visiting from out of town, and I couldn’t have picked a better restaurant. Our server was so kind and sweet. The wagyu steak was incredibly tender and rich. Each dish was unique, with Southeast Asian inspired flavors. The ambiance was cozy, with both indoor and outdoor seating, and you can even sit near the fireplace. I would highly recommend this place and would definitely come back.

Incredible flavors that are well balanced. Nothing was too sweet or salty. I'm amazed that I enjoyed every dish, and it surpassed my expectations despite reading mixed reviews. It's been a while since I had dishes at this caliber and quality. It's better than a good amount of restaurants in LA.
Everyone was extremely friendly and polite. Due to the holiday weekend and it being a Friday in a business area, it was fairly quiet. We decided to celebrate my birthday because the menu intrigued me. I liked the idea of modern cuisine influenced by SE Asian flavor and was curious to see how everything would be. We shared the scallop crudo, salmon crudo, sausage croquettes, Spanish octopus, wagyu hanger steak, broccoli & greens, and mixed mushrooms. Portion sizes are more generous than I thought too so we ended up taking ~1/3 of it home.
We shared the warm chocolate cake dessert which was rich with chocolate flavor, and they gave a pound cake berry & whipped cream dessert on the house for my birthday which was very kind. Seriously, kudos to Chef Jay Lacuesta and the team! I haven't found a nicer restaurant in OC that I want to go back to, and I've now found it! I'm so glad that I chose to celebrate my birthday there. Thank you!!
PS: park at the Centerpoint parking garage and get your ticket validated. They also have valet if you prefer, just pull right up to front of the restaurant.

I did a corporate event here in one of their private rooms. We had 25 attendees and the room was so massive, it seemed a bit empty in my opinion. When I went in the room, I saw a dead bug on the windowsill. He had one server for the room, taking drink orders as people came in. This caused people to have to wait for their orders to be taken. Even having water just waiting there for people to serve themselves would have been better. Myself and a colleague of mine were sitting on the side. I hope that we were not charged for the full meal because we did not get the appetizer or bread. When I asked for bread, they gave us these sliced pieces that were different than what the other guest were served, which was fine, but it did not come with olive oil or butter, which I found a bit strange to serve sliced bread on a plate and nothing else. The steak was good. The vegetables were completely bland and the potatoes were average, I could make them at home. The chocolate mouse Dessert with some toppings was pretty good, not too rich. For a steakhouse I would’ve expected the food and service to be a bit better.

The chef has mastered balancing the flavors and this was a wonderful birthday discovery!!!
Best restaurants have gone to after six years and the last one was Joel Robuchon. This was phenomenal!!!

The entire staff was amazing. From the host to our server Allie, to the food runners; what a great experience. Everyone made us felt welcomed. We had the Bone Marrow, Tiger Shrimp, Wagyu, and Lobster Mac. The Caesar Salad was the best I've ever had. Truly a hidden gem.
