Beyond their size, small businesses are defined by their spirit. And at the helm are their intrepid founders—scrappy, ambitious, and resilient. They invent and build things despite uncertainty, because it’s what drives them. Their risks lead to innovation that moves the world forward. And we need them.
5 stars all the way! My coworker and I like to go try new coffee spots weekly and he mentioned trying to come here before and wasn’t able to find it. Thankfully we found it together in the back corner of the business park it’s in. Walking in it’s small and tucked in the corner of its business park but it is nice. Big window view into a kitchen, small front, 3/4 seats to wait for your coffee, it’s a place you mainly come in to get your coffee and go. The cashier/barista artist was friendly and had good vibes. Definitely liked ordering coffee from him. I got the iced latte with lavender and it came out awesome. The coffee was really good, nice balance of sweetness, and sometimes the lavender can be too much or kind of come across soapy at some places, but theirs was really good. My only regret is I didn’t get the banana bread. It looked so good and I will be back for it. Overall a really nice spot, hope that others push through and don’t give up on finding it! Thanks!
Tru Bru Organic Coffee is worth seeking out despite being somewhat tucked away in a little office center in Laguna Hills. If you're like me and appreciate exceptional coffee, the minor inconvenience of finding this place is quickly forgotten with your first sip. What makes Tru Bru special is that this unassuming location is where they actually roast their beans, giving you access to some of the freshest coffee you'll find anywhere. The aroma alone when you walk in is enough to make your visit worthwhile. The service deserves particular praise - the staff are knowledgeable, passionate about their craft, and genuinely interested in ensuring you find exactly the right brew for your taste. They'll happily explain their roasting process and help you select beans that match your preferences. While the space itself is modest and parking can sometimes be a challenge during peak hours, these minor drawbacks are why I'm giving four rather than five stars. However, for coffee quality and service, they're definitely top-tier. If you're a coffee aficionado who values freshness and craftsmanship over flashy surroundings, Tru Bru Organic Coffee should absolutely be on your radar.
FANTASTIC little coffee shop with delicious breakfast, lunch and baked goods! The dirty chai with oat milk was probably the best I’ve ever had. The breakfast burrito had zero grease (I find most do) and was the tortilla was pressed perfectly to toast it up. Also had a great avocado toast with cream cheese and lemon pepper.
I came to Irvine on business. Being a coffee enthusiast I immediately looked for a nearby coffee shop. I discovered Tru Bru Organic coffee. The in house roared Brazilian coffee was excellent. I chose a flat white which was prepared exactly as I would expect, using an 18gr in 34ml out ratio. The latte art was very professional. The staff in the shop were extremely friendly and kind. I tried their blueberry scone which was excellent and even got a peek at their coffee roasting machine. I strongly recommend this place to any coffee enthusiast.
The latte is amazing. Haven’t had a good latte like this for a while. Very friendly staff. Can be a bit pricy but would still recommend.
