Great customer service, great food, great vibes, and tons of space. This is a huge location with friendly and attentive staff who are always checking on you, even while you’re playing pool, which I really appreciate.
One of the biggest things for me is the space. When you’re playing pool, you actually have room to move around unlike a lot of bars where you feel cramped. I also like that they have full size pool tables. Since I’m a bit taller, it just makes the whole experience of playing pool that much better.
There’s regular events and even a pool league on Tuesday nights, so there’s always something going on. If you are not familiar with Garden Grove, this place is definitely a hidden gem.
The food is top notch, but honestly the ambiance is what sets it apart from your average billiards bar. It is extremely clean, which is important to me, and there’s plenty of space between you and other people whether you are playing pool or sitting down to eat. It really does feel like a playground for adults in the best way.
I also like that it is family friendly. There’s large tables that are perfect for crab boils and similar meals where they lay down wax paper and everyone can sit together and enjoy. When I was there, there was a group of kids celebrating a birthday, and at the same time there were adults playing pool and hanging out. The place is so big that it almost feels like there’s separate areas for kids and adults, but it is all in one space and you do not even notice each other. That’s how spacious it is.
I have been here on Sunday afternoons, Tuesday evenings, and Friday nights, and it is always busy with great energy. The music selection is great too.
And this next part is insane to me since I’m a huge fan of famous pool players. The legendary GOAT Efren Reyes is going to be there on April 26th playing pool and interacting with fans. I saw the flyer on the wall and immediately grabbed VIP tickets. I’ll be lucky enough to say hi to him and watch him work his magic in person, which is just unreal to me.
Definitely check out the Wharf, you won’t regret it.

This place is amazing and very original. First time trying coconut snails. Great experience. Everything is delicious, although most dishes are pretty spicy. The oysters were huge, very southern. Great atmosphere. The waiter was very friendly and super attentive.

My wife and I came up to Anaheim from Temecula for a couple of days to celebrate her 50th birthday, and The Wharf ended up being one of the highlights of our trip.
The oysters were ridiculously big and tasted amazing, and the seafood boil was outstanding. The restaurant had a great vibe, and our server, Andi, made the night even better. She was friendly, attentive, and took great care of us.
Thanks, Andi, for making our experience such a great one, even though I walked out wearing about half of the seafood boil on my shorts.
When we come back to Anaheim, we will definitely be back!

I just did take-out but on my next visit I think I will dine-in the area looked very inviting. The place is very clean and well maintained.

This place is excellent for food--once you can get seated. There needs to be a better system set in place or the workers need to be trained better for efficiency...or they just need to hire more workers. I have been here many times. The last time, I had called and made a reservation. When I arrived, the restaurant wasn't even half full but we ended up waiting over 20 minutes last our reservation time to be seated. I love the food, though. I love that they have space for large parties as well as small intimate ones. Sometimes food takes a long time to make. If that is the case, the servers need to inform the customer of that. One of the items we ordered was a sushi roll--one sushi roll. 30 minutes later, we were still waiting. Thinking that they had forgotten, we reminded them. The server went to check and then came back and said they were cooking a new batch of sushi rice. It was near closing. They could have just told us that they would need to make new rice which would take awhile or give us the option to not order it because of how late it was in the evening. Sometimes getting the servers to bring us the bill or even pick up our payment took a long time. This doesn't take away from the quality of the food, though. The food is excellent and they have many options.
