The Ranch at Laguna Beach is truly a great place to visit! The staff was great from the moment we arrived and throughout our entire stay. The resort grounds are truly beautiful and serene! The location is conveniently walking distance from the beach and close to local conveniences. The restaurants offered good tasting and quality food. My family will definitely be returning in the future to stay at this hidden gem.
Lovely stay at the Ranch at Laguna. We really appreciated the full service but relaxed vibe, well appointed room with comfortable bed and bedding, awesome shower with great water pressure - everything really well done. Gorgeous setting in the canyon and just a short walk down the road (though currently under construction) to the beach with pedestrian walkway underneath the PCH. Beach chairs & umbrellas available down at beach cafe that is connected to the Ranch. We also enjoyed sitting out to have drinks and bite to eat on the porch at night listening to live music. We are looking forward to coming again and playing the 9 hole golf course on the property. Great great place to enjoy all the quirky charm of Laguna but also to enjoy a full service hotel/resort.
We were recently at the ranch to celebrate our anniversary of 48 years. They exceeded all our expectations. The room was comfortable. The staff was always helpful, friendly people on the grounds were always saying hi to each other. We had our anniversary dinner at the harvest, it was beyond amazing, fresh ingredients, delicious food. By the way, the last slice of apple pie is truly delicious. You need to try it.! We walked to the beach we took the farm tour. I was so surprised by all that they’re doing farm to table food. It was really incredible to see all the work going into that. My husband wants to come back and play golf. I would love to come back another time and stay longer. Thank you to all the staff there we really enjoyed our couple of days away.
Spent some time at The Ranch at Laguna Beach Golf Course again recently and had a really great day out there. The course was in great condition and everything just felt really peaceful from the moment we arrived. The views around the canyon area make the whole round feel more relaxed compared to other courses. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the pace of play stayed smooth the whole time which made it even better. We grabbed a drink afterward and just hung out for a bit because the setting is honestly that nice. It’s one of those places you don’t get tired of going back to.
A truly special place with exceptional service. It isn’t inexpensive, but it is absolutely worth it for the one-of-a-kind wilderness experience—just across the street from the ocean. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed with modern amenities. And free parking was such a welcome bonus. Everything felt easy, seamless, and well done. We stayed in four different rooms, including the Treehouse, which was perfect for our small group meetings and company managers retreat. The fireplace, fire pit, and views were incredible—wow. HOuse keeping was very generous with leaving us extra water and coffee. Everyone we encountered was warm and friendly. Once you realize everything is handled through the iPad, service requests are incredibly prompt and helpful. The treehouse thermostat was tricky to figure out but thankfully the weather didn’t warrant much use. Dinner at Harvest was outstanding. We had a group of 12, and every single person loved their meal. The butter cake is unforgettable, and our server was superb. We ended our stay with the farm tour, which was such a fun and memorable experience. We’ll definitely be back next year.
