What a fabulous, delicious spot! Came here for lunch and then came back for gelato. They have a great little set up with bistro tables and chairs to sit at out front. I wish their neighbor would close their door,the surf shop, so it didn’t smell though. The people working were so friendly and also helpful ordering with an allergy.

Very cute place— love all the flowers! We tried the Italian summer and berry ricotta toast (adding some flaky salt though would be total perfection) . Both the food and service were great and would totally recommend/return.

I was searching for coffee shops to try while I am in San Clemente and was super excited to try this place.
I opted for the flowers & cup combo which is supposed to come with a mini bouquet and a 16 ounce coffee for $14. I was surprised when the staff asked me if I wanted a 12 ounce as I’m trying to get the bang for my buck! I ordered an iced salted honey latte and they gave me hot. And had I known they were going to give me 3 roses I would have just gotten the coffee by itself. I'm also not sure what salted honey is supposed to taste like but it tasted like a regular latte.
It's a cute little place but I just left disappointed that's all. But don't get me wrong, the staff were friendly. I think I was just more sad about the 3 roses. I was really hoping for a cute little mini variety bouquet considering that was what was advertised on social media.

We were really impressed with the Picnic Cafe who we hired for a recent event. Their lavish grazing board was gorgeous and they did all the set up and take down which made the process super seamless. It’s definitely a wow moment if you’re looking for something a bit more creative than average catering for your event!

I always like to focus on the positives first! This place is adorable. I had the Turkey sandwich and a lavender matcha and the matcha was one of the best I’ve had. The kids meals were adorable and my kids loved them! This would totally be a 5 star review except the service was HORRIBLE.
We were here at 11am on Wednesday April 8th we stood for 10 minutes before the girl working even came over to take our order there was no acknowledgment or just a second or any kind of greeting … no one else was in the shop except us so it just seemed very odd to me. When the girl working finally came over to take our order she just said “what do want to order” with a sigh no eye contact it just felt like we were irritating her. She then proceeded to tell my mom what she wanted to order was going to take awhile to make and so my mom just canceled her food order all together.
I saw a family of 4 leave after not being acknowledged and that is money that I’m sure this new business needs.
My daughters begged me to get some gelato and though I was very reluctant to try and order I went back in because it’s spring break and who doesn’t like gelato. I waited for 7 minutes and the girl just washed dishes said nothing to us so I had to carry my crying children out of the store with no gelato. Again just a loss of sales.
I loved the concept of this business and I really did enjoy what we ordered. I hope this is just a one person issue or maybe a bad day but I would strongly encourage the business to take some time for some additional customer service training with this particular staff member.
