I got the Fish and Chips and my dad got the Chicken Pie. The one that I liked the most was their Chicken pie because the pastry part was crispy. The only down side on the Chicken pie was the chicken it self was too thick and should have been the same size as the carrots and peas that was it would have been more of a delicious bite. Now about Fish and Chips, I was sort of disappointed because the fried part was too thick for my liking. Lastly the service overall was amazing but for the price for the food is probably not worth it unless you want to try it for yourself.
If it weren't for the sassy, feisty, yet funny waitress, our meal would have been a bad experience. But because of her liveliness (or aggressiveness? Lol) towards one of my friends it became a memorable experience for us all. Food is very mediocre for it's price point. But the drankss made up for it. Their English Breakfast came with the "fried bread" and it' literally deep fried wonderbread. It's the most horrible thing, a normal toast would have sufficed. Black Pudding for +9 and it's barely a handful. My friend loves her Bangers & mash and the gracy and yorkshire pudding was great together. Get the Chocolate Stout or the fruit beers!! Worth! Their Sticky Toffee Pudding is not that sweet so its perfect! But wluld I come back? Probably not.
As an epat/dual brit/us I really appreciate the attention to detail in the asthmatic and authentic food choices!
Very good fish and chips. Oh, those chips! Nice day, so we sat out back by the double-decker bus; so fun. The menu was fun and authentic; the server was wonderful and able to help explain menu items. The atmosphere was fun inside but could probably use a creative update while remaining authentic. Super nice people; I'll be back.
Fine if you like eating frozen appetizers and main dishes there is no way they made this food in 3 to 5 minutes. The desserts were quite good though but the food for 24.00 I expected better. I have had the Fish and chips in UK and they are not like this nor are the pot. pies as they seem like something you'd buy in the grocery store. They actually have the shape of the microwave dish and all even. I was very excited to take my son there but left very disappointed. Maybe the bar is good? This also appeared to be a place enjoyed by Seniors so take that what you may. They probably don't care what they eat and they will never make it to UK so its great for them.
