Was craving for fish & chips so we went here since we’re in the neighborhood. Great place & great pub to hangout they have the bar side, the dinning side and the back outdoor yard. Parking can be in-front or the back of the place. We parked in the back and entered through the which is small but cozy and everyone is enjoying and chatting away. The whole place filled with either England’s pubs, places or painting pictures or artifacts that just homey vibe. Service is fantastic, warm and very friendly. Menu is very English so we got seafoods platter, claim chowder, crab cakes, and fish pie plus toffee pudding for dessert. For me, it’s a hit and missed..we all know that English foods is bland and tast-less and I’m Asian so seasoning is a must. But been and lived in England before so I understood & appreciated their fine comfort foods and I do missed it here and there and tonight was one of them. Claim chowder was great, rich, creamy and packed with great ingredients. Crab cakes were a missed, tasteless (even salt added) and were not tightly packed - great chips thought. Seafood platter was good, still needs alot of salt for favor. The fish pie was great, very healthy and well cooked. Would be better if the top burned abit more for crust…carrots & peas are perfectly boiled. And the toffee pudding was a hit, less sweet than I remembered but that is perfectly fine with me. Just perfectly ended the meal well. Overall it was good place for some English comfort foods and that cozy warm feeling overall.

Stopped by The Olde Ship in Fullerton and had a fun experience. I had some of the classics — fish & chips, cottage pie, Bridie, Crab Cakes, English breakfast, and chippy fries with curry sauce. Everything was flavorful and satisfying, especially with a proper pint to go with it. The vibe is authentic and cozy, like a traditional UK pub. What really stood out was the service — our waitress was fantastic: friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Whether you're craving some English Pub food or just want a good pint in a relaxed setting, this spot is definitely worth a visit. Will absolutely be coming back!

I have always enjoyed English cuisine, so I came in eager to see how the dishes compared to the flavors I remembered from my time abroad. I am happy to say everything lived up to my expectations. The food tasted authentic and comforting, just the way I hoped it would. I am already looking forward to returning and trying even more from the menu.

The atmosphere was great. I tried the scotch egg which I can honestly make better at home. I won't judge this places food on a small item but it was $13 for a small item. Should be $5 Max. I will most definitely try this place again because I want to know if they are truly British because their bangers are better than anything else on this planet.

The food, services and atmosphere was great. The food was definitely something that will keep me coming back . The Scottish birdie pie crust was chewy, flavorful and the perfect texture. Pair that with the rich flavorful gravy, and it's a match made in heaven. All that with some flavor packed juicy steak, and its got me craving more. The seafood platter was great too. It has a good amount of coating, which turns amazing with the vinegar. All that was amazing, but the highlight is the sticky toffee pudding. Such rich flavor and texture in a bowl of deliciousness! The atmosphere is fantastic too. Definitely got a good pub feel, with out door seating. Can't go wrong wherever you end up sitting. Definitely recommend coming back to this amazing pub
