The food at this Mexican restaurant was absolutely delicious, full of flavor and made with fresh ingredients. The staff were also very nice and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

We stumbled upon this family-run Mexican restaurant on Taco Tuesday, and what a treat it turned out to be! From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere made it clear this was a true neighborhood gem. The tacos were exceptional, freshly made, perfectly seasoned, and generously filled. Each variety we tried (carne asada, carnitas, chicken, birria and lengua ( yes they have an amazing lengua option )had its own standout flavor. The homemade salsas and guac were the real deal, most likely was prepared minutes ago. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, great portions, and high quality , this place is an absolute must, especially on Taco Tuesday!

Decent prices. Good drink selection. The food tasted ok. I asked for the beans and rice that came with my burrito to be on the side. The first employee did that, but the second employee didn’t notice, so he added it as an extra charge. I noticed it cost more than I expected, and disputed it. I had to ask about it twice before they figured it out. They gave me cash because I had already paid.

I visited this location for the first time on a Friday night around 9:00 pm. The restaurant was completely empty, and there were two staff members behind the counter. One of them was just standing there, chatting with the other, while the other was preparing an order. I wasn’t acknowledged when I walked in—no greeting, no “I’ll be right with you,” just silence. I waited patiently for the only guy working to get to me. As the employee seemed to be finishing the order (nearly 10 minutes after I got there), a man in uniform, who I believe was a sheriff, walked in. The guy that was actually working immediately asked him, “What can I get you?” completely ignoring me, even though I had been waiting for a while. I’m all for public safety officers getting discounts, but completely overlooking other customers is unacceptable. Feeling disregarded, I left the restaurant. Fortunately, we have plenty of Mexican food options in Orange County.

Best street cart-style tacos north of the border at a great price. Quality of the beef is not the highest but works well enough. Chicken is excellent. Cilantro can be old and stemmy at times. Kitchen and cashier staff are friendly and give extra veggies for free. Open until midnight most nights. Dining room is large and clean! Restrooms are clean most of the time. My only complaint about this location is that their menu prices are 10-20% higher than at the ones in central Orange County. Tolerable, though, since the place is a welcome new addition to this area! We need more "authentic" taquerias to pierce the bubble down here. If you have a burrito, be sure to try it "mojado" style. Sometimes they'll drench it with heated salsa and crema for free!
