After 30+ years as a patient at Surf City Dentist, I can honestly say the care and professionalism from this office has always been exceptional. From fillings, bridges, and cleanings to my recent Invisalign treatment, every experience has been positive and handled with great skill and compassion.
Dr. Flores and Dr. Coleman are outstanding dentists who truly care about their patients. I especially want to highlight Dr. Flores — she has the magic touch when it comes to Novocain shots. Truly pain free! She made what is usually an anxious experience feel calm, comfortable and safe.
Dr. Flores guided me through my Invisalign treatment from start to finish, and both she and Ray made the entire process easy, successful, and stress-free. They thoroughly explained every step, answered questions honestly, and made sure I felt confident throughout the process and with the final results.
Cindy, my hygienist, is wonderful — gentle, caring, and thorough. She always offers suggestions and tips for better oral health.
The entire front staff creates a welcoming, friendly environment that immediately puts patients at ease. You can tell they genuinely care about the people who walk through their doors.
This office uses state-of-the-art technology, products, and procedures, and Dr. Flores continues advancing her education with ongoing training well beyond her dental degree. Her knowledge, honesty, and gentle approach help take away fear and build trust.

I was very happy with my first visit to Surf City Dentist. The exam was thorough, the cleaning was exemplary with Cara, the dental hygienist, pointing out how I can improve on brushing my teeth (which I appreciated), and the staff friendly and efficient.

Dr. Coleman placed an implant crown for me about a year ago. The implant itself had been placed by an oral surgeon who visits his office once a month. A few months after Dr. Colman’s work, an intense pain developed from the implant/crown. When I went back to him, he removed the crown and replaced the healing cap on the implant. He then kept emphasizing that my body may be rejecting the implant. Not being able to trust Dr. Colman at that point, I obtained a second opinion with another oral surgeon who specializes in implant. The surgeon told me that the pain is not from my reaction, and recommended a new crown by a new dentist. A new crown resolved the problem with no more pain.
I would not recommend Dr. Colman at all.

Dr. Colemans office is always a very good experience for me. Met Dr. Flores for the 1st time. What a pleasant individual. Kara (Carey). sorry didn't get the spelling of her name. Is very gentle and gets my teeth cleaned and ex rays done with very little hassle. Also the front office staff is wonderful.Thanks Guys.

All of the staff at Surf City Dentist are awesome. I’ve been a patient for over 30 years. My daughter and her husband are also patients. I’ve referred friends too. Cindy is a great hygienist. You’ll love her and of course Dr. Coleman.
