I found this place today on a ad on Facebook lol so I gave it a try i spent around 40 bucks. I got the 2 meat plate, brisket and ribs with potato salad and baked beans. The brisket was pretty good tender and moist it could have used a tad bit more salt for my taste. The ribs were pork, tender and came sauced (which i didnt realize, not a huge fan of sauced bbq). The ribs however were my favorite over the brisket. I got 4 ribs and 2 slices of brisket which I think the brisket portion was small for the price. The potato salad had good flavor it was missing something for me tho pickle relish and a tad of salt. The bbq baked beans not sure if this was just today or how they are but my beans were a bit undercooked. They had a bite to them which I didnt care for but the flavor of the beans I loved. I would definitely return to try other items plus they have a happy hour. I went on a Wednesday around 2:30pm and it was not crowded at all it was about 2 tables. The customer service was great. The lady who helped me greeted me as soon as I walked in, she was very knowledgeable of the menu as it was my first time coming here. She gave great suggestions and I ordered take out. She offered me water and a sest at the bar while I waited for my order. Her customer service was a 10!
Nice place for your overeating fantasies and cousins from out Kansas way. Good beer selection and friendly staff. Deviled eggs, fried avocado and burnt tips were standouts!
What a wonderful way to enjoy the warm BBQ meals during the winter season! I thought Smoqued California BBQ was very unique and wonderful place where they served pork, brisket, St. Louis rib, sandwiches, and salads. I can remember this BBQ place in Orange County forever and cross it off the bucket list!
Best loaded baked potato! I had it with Chili and it was just the right amount of spice. Great service. It smells amazing when you walk in. We got the brisket sandwich as well and it was fantastic. We will definitely be back.
The food was fantastic! We had ribs and brisket. I highly recommend the Mac & cheese. What I was also impressed about was our server Thea. The restaurant was very busy. She was attending to multiple tables as well as greeting people at the front. I noticed how well she handled all of her tables as she was checking in on us and everyone throughout our meal. She is definitely an asset to your restaurant! I highly recommend Smoqued BBQ
