The $8 is pasta dish. *** First time here. After reading several Reddit reviews of pizza slices in Orange County this place came up a couple times. I was in the area so decided to check it out for lunch. I ordered the Bronx and the veggie - would say the Bronx was the better of the two, but nothing special. The veggie was disappointing. I thought $14 + tax for a lunch combo two slices/drink was off the charts when you go to any other place and get $10 (2) slices and a soda that I would say the quality would be maybe a little lower maybe about the same but I wouldn’t come back here. The Pizza Bakery has a lunch promo: 2 slices, drink, $8. Service was good. Atmosphere clean.
This is the closest you’ll get to a New York style pizza in Irvine. I always order the full pie, so it is always freshly made and delicious. This place has a college atmosphere being so close to UCI. They just started the summer concert series on Fridays, which makes for a great time. Cannot comment on their pizza by the slice or their salads since I haven’t had the opportunity to try them.
Sgt. Pizza is such a cool little spot right across from the UCI campus — perfect for grabbing a bite and hanging out with friends or family. We tried the Thai Pizza and the Secret Thai Salad, and both were absolutely delicious! The flavors were unique, fresh, and super satisfying. On top of that, the service made our visit extra special. Julie and Jayden were attentive, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed. Their warm hospitality really stood out. If you’re around UCI and craving something tasty in a relaxed setting, Sgt. Pizza is definitely worth checking out.
We placed an online pickup order on a busy Saturday night. Even though we had to wait nearly an hour for our pizza, it was well worth it. The pizza was absolutely delicious, and the customer service was exceptional. The staff were very apologetic about the delay and went above and beyond by providing us with two free slice coupons for our next visit. Their thoughtful gesture and the quality of their ingredients have definitely earned our loyalty. Highly recommend this place for both the fantastic pizza and the outstanding customer service.
*update 3 stars because they did reach out to make it right $87 for two pizzas and a pinwheel only for it to be inedible. Ive never thrown away pizza before. 2 stars not one because i was here before and loved it but i will never be back. Walked in and two bros are standing behind the cash register with an empty restaurant. I assumed they were on break because they looked at me standing at the pick up station then went back to talking for another 30 seconds. Finally one guy asked what i need and i got my pickup. Had the super bee before and loved it but it tasted like gone bad cheese and vinegar and was soaked through the box with oil. New pie of the month is absolutely not worth holding bread soup in your hands if you dont grab a corner Last time i had great service and loved 3/4 pizzas we bought. Today was garbage but i couldn't go back to complain because i was on my way to work
