Its been years since I've been here. I used to go here on the regular back in my college years. Let me tell you, the food is just as GOOD if not better. You know when you have a memory of how something tastes that you haven't had in a long time and when you finally eat it, it totally hits the "spot" and it's exactly how you remember it? Right here. I had the BIG ED with red sauce. A friend had 2 chicken tacos and the plantanes. The verdict was they were both "delish". If you try it, you won't be disappointed.

Being originally from the East Coast, I’ve really missed having easy access to authentic Puerto Rican food like I did in New York, where there seemed to be great Puerto Rican spots everywhere. Living in California, it’s honestly hard to find places that truly capture those same flavors and homemade feel, which is why I was so happy to find Senor Big Ed.
This place is one of the very few authentic Puerto Rican food restaurants in the area, and it absolutely delivered. The food was delicious, flavorful, and tasted like something straight out of back home. I went by myself and spent around $40 between the meal I ate there and the extra food I took home because it was that good.
The restaurant itself was very clean, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was amazing. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. It’s honestly nice knowing there’s finally a solid Puerto Rican food option out here in California when I’m missing those New York food spots.
