We search for seafood at the beach. It's surprising how so many restaurants say they serve seafood, but it's the same old fish tacos you can find everywhere. Finally, we found a nice restaurant serving actual halibut and ciopinno with seabass and salmon. It was wonderful. Even better, my picky husband loved the Pinot Grigio so much, I bought him a bottle of it. They have an extensive wine menu, so that was a plus. The only bothersome part was the comfortable outside patio was right on Hwy 1 and loud cars/motorcycles were disturbing. It was across the street from the ocean, so we still had a nice view. The food was exactly what I dreamed of-excellent!

The Eggs Benedict dishes come with a bread base that was extremely hard on the outside, although the inside was still soft.
When I asked about it, I was told that it’s normally served that way.
They kindly brought me a sharper knife, which made a big difference.
The standard knife provided was not really sufficient to cut through it, so I would recommend asking for a sharper knife if you order one of the Benedict dishes.

Sapphire is such an amazing restaurant. Its located just a block from the beach so the dining experience comes with a beautiful view. The patio area is very spacious so there is plenty of room for people to enjoy the ocean breeze.
I dined here on a Friday evening and it was pretty busy. Despite how lively it was, our server was extremely attentive to all of our needs. The manager, Sal, was extremely friendly and I noticed him engaging with tables throughout the night.
The food was all so delicious. For appetizers we ordered the White Mexican Shrimp & Chilean Sea Bass Ceviche, the Rosemary Focaccia Bread, and a cup of their Seafood Chowder. The Ceviche was fresh and packed with flavor. The Focaccia was so fluffy and was served with a delicious whipped honey butter.
For my entree I ordered the Short Rib Pappardelle. The chunk of short rib was massive and the creme fraise really tied all the elements of the dish together. My friends ordered the Wild Caught Chilean Sea Bass and American Wagyu Beef Burger. Both were yummy.
Overall the food, service, and ambiance were top notch. Will definitely be back.

The most beautiful, delicious and divine meal I’ve ever experienced. My server was so sweet and the rest of the staff was so attentive and caring. The food was absolutely to die for. I came for a solo dining experience for my birthday and enjoyed a glass of prosecco, the bluefin tuna cruto, the duck & pork meatballs and a delicious dessert. I even shed a few tears of how beautiful the experience was for me. Thank you so much to the entire team from my host, server, chef and bussers. 💕

We recently had our wedding dinner at Sapphire Laguna and truly could not have asked for a better experience. Everything was amazing from beginning to end.
The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The hospitality was exceptional and made us and all of our guests feel so taken care of throughout the entire night. The food was absolutely amazing and everyone kept talking about how much they loved it.
We also want to give a special thank you to Sal, the manager, who was an absolute joy to work with throughout this entire process. He was so understanding, accommodating, and willing to help make everything come together for our special day. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but Sal, Kacie and the Sapphire team made everything feel smooth and easy, and we truly appreciated his kindness, professionalism, and communication.
Thank you again to the entire team for helping make our wedding so special and memorable. We will definitely be recommending Sapphire to all of our friends and family!
