I have been coming here for years and never really had an issue until about a year ago when they had hired a new receptionist. She didn’t know how to navigate the website for insurance coverage which is understandable considering she was a new hire, however she had no trainer with her. Now fast forward to 01/12/2024. I came in for my yearly check and they had hired another new receptionist. This lady has absolutely no people skills whatsoever. She was highly unprofessional. I asked to use the restroom as I had came in straight from work and she responded with “The owner doesn’t want customers using the restroom.” And I questioned her because I know I’ve used that restroom before with no issues. She then proceeds to as (very loudly I might add) “but like do you have to go really bad? Cuz I don’t make the rules.” I was very uncomfortable conversing with her across the room. She then proceeds to ask another patient across the room for her personal insurance information. And that is where I drew the line & cancelled my appointment. The entire 20mins that I was in there waiting for my appointment was uncomfortable & unprofessional.
I’ve been coming to Santa Ana Optometry for about 8 years now and so has the rest of my family. Such great service is always provided here, any concerns or questions I have were answered. I leave each visit satisfied and happy with the great service provided here at Santa Ana Optometry.
They gave me my prescription wrong I been coming here for a while but now am older and don’t think I’ll keep coming the gave me the wrong prescription and I order glasses online and I can’t see with them good and my eyes and head hurt I compared it w my last prescription and instead of going up it went down and I feel like that’s the reason I can’t see good she put the wrong prescription!
Even when I've paid for my contact lens prescription, I was given a wrong kind. When I called to ask for it, the asian guy barely speaks English and the woman receptiont even had the nerve to hung up the phone on me! The optometrist was 40 mins late for my appt. and never showed up when I went back to pick up my right prescription. I wont reccomend it AT ALL !!!
