I recently spent some time out on the course and at the clubhouse, and while the overall experience was great, there’s a clear standout here. The golf course itself earns a solid 4 stars. It’s a fun, challenging layout that is well-maintained and offers some beautiful views throughout the round. It’s definitely a spot I’d recommend to any golfer in the area looking for a quality local track. However, where this place truly shines is the bar and restaurant. If I could rate the 19th hole separately, it would be a 5-star experience without hesitation. The food was top-tier, the drinks were expertly crafted, and the service was some of the best I’ve encountered—attentive, friendly, and fast. Whether you're finishing up a round or just looking for a fantastic meal, the hospitality side of San Juan Hills is absolutely amazing.
A FABULOUS BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION for 12 under the olive trees next to the golf course was perfect in every way.The beautiful golf course view shaded by the olive trees were just we needed. The staff including David, Mark and our amazing server Morgan were on it from start to finish. Everything I needed was a yes with smiles on their faces. All of the attendees were so impressed by the good food, service and environment that they can’t wait to return. Thank you to all especially Morgan for this special day we will remember always! O
I recently played in a golf tournament at San Juan Hills Golf Club and was thoroughly impressed with both the course and the overall experience. The course was in great condition — well-maintained fairways, challenging yet enjoyable layout, and beautiful scenery throughout. Before teeing off, I had breakfast at the on-site restaurant and ordered the Avocado Toast — it was delicious! The portion was just right and full of fresh flavor. What made the dining experience even better was the friendly and knowledgeable waitress who helped me navigate the menu with ease. As I was leaving later that evening, I caught a glimpse of the nightlife scene. The outdoor patio was lively, filled with people enjoying live music and dancing — it had a great atmosphere that I’d love to come back and experience. Highly recommend San Juan Hills for both golf and a great time before or after your round!
We were here for Roy McQuaig he's Instructor here ! He's amazing ! Very knowledgeable & patient ! It's a Beautiful Golf course & Driving range ! Lot's of remodeling ! Making it even more spacious & Beautiful ! Enjoy your day here !
Course is in great shape. The bar/restaurant is very nice and the food looked good (didn't have any). The employees were all so nice and helpful. If you're visiting the area and want to get a round in, this is the place.
