Beyond their size, small businesses are defined by their spirit. And at the helm are their intrepid founders—scrappy, ambitious, and resilient. They invent and build things despite uncertainty, because it’s what drives them. Their risks lead to innovation that moves the world forward. And we need them.
Disappointing on so many levels. Saturday is my pizza day and I look forward to the weekly treat. I was visiting the area, so I decided to order a Nonna Lucia Grandma Pie at Sal’s, given the very positive reviews. It was hot and the ingredients seemed reasonable quality, but the bland taste (couldn't see or taste the oregano or parmesan, and the “fresh basil” was somehow flavorless) and the impossible to cut or bite [frozen?] crust was a disaster. And it cost $24 for a 12” pie?! Sorry, Sal, but Papa John’s has you beat.
Pretty good pizza for the location. Ordered whole meat lovers and hawaiian pizzas to go. The staff was friendly when I entered and the pizzas came out fresh when picking them up. Also ordered garlic knots but they were ok as the dough wasn't as soft as I'd like it to be. Otherwise I'd visit again to try their other pizzas. 🍕🍕
Looks great after the grand opening! Glad to enjoy my time here. The pizza slices are large and delicious. The new soda machine has just about any drink you can think of. The new design really fits all together and is visually pleasing. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone with an appetite!
Planned all day to place an order for pick up for dinner for my family but no one answered the phone Sunday July 30th at 6:07pm. Called many times within a half hour period. No one ever answered. This would have been our first order with you guys apart from slices in the store. Had a few questions too but I guess I'll never know, no staff answers the phone. Will call another pizza place, you guys obviously are too busy to handle phone orders.
At first it may look like your average pizza joint, but Sal's Pizzeria is anything but! I wandered in with my family on a Tuesday night, and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff and incredible aroma of baking pizza. We ordered the garlic knots and meatballs to start. The meatballs were delicious and the garlic knots were little bombs of buttery, yeasty goodness, and the garlic was robust but not overpowering. When our Grandma Style pizzas arrived, our expectations continued to be exceeded. The crust was crisp, flavorful, and chewy. The toppings worked together beautifully. The marinara and breadcrumbs were packed with flavor, and the mozarella had a great consistency and very little oil. By the end of the meal we were planning our next visit. Did I mention you can by daily home made Mozzarella cheese? Can wait to enjoy it with my salad This place is perfect for groups or a casual date night before or after the movies
