Rye Goods has a way of feeling incredibly intentional…a space that’s thoughtful, grounded, and focused on quality without being loud about it. While the coffee is a solid pairing, the food is where this spot truly finds its soul.
The cardamom almond croissant is a masterpiece of texture. It’s a departure from the typical light and airy versions; this one is flaky yet carries a signature sourdough-like density and a deep, nutty richness. It’s a unique profile that isn't for everyone, but if you appreciate a pastry with real substance, it’s beautiful. Alongside that, the focaccia is consistently to die for…crisp on the edges, airy inside, and finished with that perfect olive oil touch.
They are clearly committed to the right ingredients, using organic milk and Canyon Coffee. While the coffee is well-executed, I personally still find myself leaning toward Play Coffee for the brew itself, but the food here is in a league of its own.
The atmosphere keeps the experience elevated—warm and minimal inside with an easy California energy outdoors. What really stands out at this location, though, is the team. The baristas here are awesome and feel significantly better dialed in than at other locations, making the whole visit feel seamless. It’s the kind of place where the quality of the food and the vibe keep you coming back.

Every time I come, the staff are so friendly and helpful. I truly love & appreciate that they don’t act bugged to help you (like most cafes 😂). Also the food is delish. I’m gluten intolerant so I tried the bread cautiously…but realized none of it bothered me! 🙏

2/2 bangers for me. $7 for likely the best and freshest bagel in town, definitely worth a little drive to get to. The chive cream cheese is nothing short of delicious, with a fresh lemon zest to have a light burst of citrus flavor. It’s something that I’ll definitely be added to my bagels at home.
The Foccacia was also quite good, freshly baked and with another sprinkle of lemon zest. It’s really good, you can tell it’s quality.

Delicious bakery with amazing food options! Fresh ingredients and the food can out perfect. Highly recommend!! Sitting area was also a plus with many seats available and a little courtyard to enjoy.

I was really disappointed. The line to order was very narrow, hot and crowded, with no noticeable air conditioning or air circulation while waiting in a very long line. It also seemed understaffed—many of the tables were still covered with dirty dishes from previous guests.
Ordering took much longer than expected, although the staff member helping me was kind and clearly doing her best but I had to tell her what I wanted about 3 times, she kept getting it wrong. Unfortunately, the food didn't make up for the wait. It was bland and lacked flavor, and my fresh-pressed juice tasted like it had already gone bad.
I expected a much better overall experience. I hope they can improve the staffing, cleanliness, and food quality because the location has a lot of potential.
