Beyond their size, small businesses are defined by their spirit. And at the helm are their intrepid foundersâscrappy, ambitious, and resilient. They invent and build things despite uncertainty, because itâs what drives them. Their risks lead to innovation that moves the world forward. And we need them.
Loved the chicken salad sandwich and turkey sandwich, both served on squaw bread, which I've never had or heard of before. (I'm from the southeastern United States and I don't remember ever seeing squaw bread on a menu) Both sandwiches were as fresh as fresh could be, and very good! Loved the squaw bread, too! The hummus with pita bread was homemade and tasty, as was the chocolatey dessert, loaded with vanilla ice cream and lots whipped cream! (Big enough to share) Going back this weekend to this whimsically decorated house of yum! Go! You'll be glad you did! Don't forget to have dessert, Y'all! Every single one sounded fabulous!đ¤¤đâĽď¸đ¤ âĽď¸
Healthy, generous salad bowls and uniquely delicious sandwiches in a nostalgic, antique coffee pots decorated, bohemian Californian, cute, century old, historic house with a brick wall, fireplace and a nice patio in the back. A self described âhippy jointâ, this restaurant serves a multi-page menu of healthy soups, salads, unusual versions of sandwiches like a cream cheese and black olive sandwich on squaw bread, bagel pizzas, Mexican food, egg salad sandwiches, and tuna sandwiches. Delicious shakes and different types of coffee drinks. Everything you order is good and healthy. The potato salad is awesome. The cookies are divine. Theyâve been doing this a long time, so they know how to make good food!
I ordered the Cocky Leeky Soup and the Southwest Vegetable Quinoa bowl with chicken (I added the chicken; it's also available as the Southwest Chicken Quinoa bowl). I ordered the vegetarian version and added chicken because I wanted more veggies. âşď¸ I ate all of the soup and had leftovers of the Southwest Vegetable Quinoa bowl for dinner. Rutabegorz has a remarkable selection!
I was introduced to this place by a good friend and wasnât quite sure what to expect. At first glance, the place looked a bit old, but I decided to give it a try anyway. I ordered the Asian salad and made a few modificationsâspecifically, I asked them to leave out the mushrooms. In hindsight, I shouldâve also asked them to remove the tomatoes, as I donât think they really go with an Asian-style salad. That said, the portion was generous, and the salad itself was actually quite good. I also tried their cheesecake, and it was absolutely amazingâdefinitely the highlight of the meal!
Here you get to seat yourself and we've always had great service wherever we sit. The food is really incredible. I've enjoyed the salads, wraps, sandwiches and chili. Every dish is packed with flavor. Highly recommend this restaurant!
