09.02.25 This is my first time visit to Ronaldo's Taco Shop. This visit was after lunch and around 2 and 3pm in the afternoon. My observations: The restaurant is clean and inviting. The salsa bar is clean as well as the drinks fountain. There's definitely plenty of salsa choices. There was one young lady cashier who took my order. She seems to be fairly familiar with taking orders and answering questions, although I recommend to management to give her more training on what it takes to be front and center doing customer service and in representing the restaurant. I first had fish taco. That was pretty good, fresh trimmings, and it could have a little bit more fish. The flavors on that fish taco was good so I ventured to try the chile relleno combo (with rice and beans) which is my favorite Mexican food. I didn't need to order but might as well since it's my first time there. A male rep took my order at that time. That was a good upgrade to my first counter experience. My combo came with piping hot tortillas, and the temperature on the fish, beans, and relleno is perfect. The rice being hot and perfect reminded me of one visit I had in a Santa Ana restaurant where the rice was cold - major let down, especially when it's in downtown Santa Ana. Another important observation: the restaurant uses good quality plastic utensils and containers - thank you! Kudos to the cook who took time to glance at counter area and gave a courtesy smile. Overall pretty good experience and I do plan to go back.
the sweetest guys ever! I had ordered birria but they had ran out and didn’t know they came and told me and i just i would get a burrito and pay the difference and told me i didnt have to worry about it as in about to leave they give me and my husband a free churro as an extra sorry as the cook in the back came and personally told me next time u came we can get free birria. I have never had such a good customer service experience like one! definitely recommend
They have a lot of salsas to pick from and a lot of food variety, definitely quantity but I got the steak and shrimp burrito and felt like the quality was just ok... Overall seems like an ok place... What I got just wasn't "Great".
Went to the Ronaldo's off of Crown Valley Parkway. The food is so delicious! Whatever you get. You can't go wrong. Great salsa bar, and delicious pickled carrots and onions too. In the pictures here we got the special for tonight which was the three taquito plate with rice and beans. We also got a couple crispy potato tacos, and we got the Hot Cheeto burrito, but we changed the meat from carne asada to carnitas. Everything was so good! The employees are also very nice here! They also serve our favorite drink here..... Orange Bang! A little update to this post..... I went tonight and had the milanesa torta. You could get it with chicken or beef. Got the chicken. Oh my goodness, it was so delicious!! Forgot to take a picture of it.
Ordered burritos for the early morning go, authentic Mexican cuisine with good deals and a large selection. Food is a 10/10. Service is a 10/10. Atmosphere is like a 50s diner but Mexican?….10/10.
