We had an incredible dinner at Romeo Cucina in Laguna Beach! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was outstanding — a special shoutout to manager Freddy, who made the evening truly memorable.
The wood-fired pizza was exceptional — perfectly charred crust with incredible flavor. The clam chowder with bread for dipping was rich and delicious, an absolute must-try. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the swordfish was fresh and beautifully prepared.
Every dish showed real care and craftsmanship. Romeo Cucina is hands down one of the best Italian restaurants in Laguna Beach. We’ll definitely be back!

My favorite restaurant! The BEST Italian food — very nice and romantic. I highly recommend it for dates or if you want delicious, flavorful food. On some days they have a violinist and salsa, both of which I really enjoy..

Romeo Italian Cuisine in Laguna Beach is a fantastic spot for a casual and delicious meal. Their Italian-style pizza is absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. It’s conveniently located just off the main road, making it easy to find without the hassle of heavy traffic. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. They also have a great happy hour menu with solid options at good prices. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

We’ve been coming to Romeo Cucina not for the first time, and we always enjoy both the food and the service.
I especially love their vegetable salad - it’s packed with fresh greens and tastes so fresh and vibrant. The bread with butter is delicious, and I also appreciate their vegetable sides. It’s always nice to have good, balanced options.
The location is another big plus - being close to the beach in Laguna Beach makes it perfect for dinner after an evening walk. It’s so convenient to just stroll over and enjoy a relaxed meal.

We found this beautiful little Italian spot in Laguna Beach and it completely exceeded expectations. It’s very unassuming from the outside, but everything about the experience was incredible.
Our server, Freddie, was so kind and attentive. We mentioned we wanted the Rigatoni Giulietta Pasta but don’t drink alcohol, and they were more than happy to accommodate us by removing the brandy. It turned out absolutely delicious, easily one of our favorite dishes!
We also ordered the margherita pizza, which was just as amazing. Everything tasted fresh and perfectly done.
We sat outside, and the whole setting felt dreamy. The weather was perfect, the atmosphere was relaxed, and it just made the entire experience even better.
We loved it here and will definitely be back. Highly recommend.
