I recently dined at Romeo Cucina in Laguna Beach, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The restaurant exudes a warm and inviting atmosphere, reminiscent of a traditional Italian family home. Our server, Rodolfo, was outstanding in every aspect. His attentive and friendly demeanor made us feel welcome and well-cared-for throughout the evening. Rodolfo’s extensive knowledge of the menu and his thoughtful recommendations enhanced our dining experience, ensuring we selected dishes that delighted our palates. The cuisine at Romeo Cucina is truly remarkable. We began with freshly baked bread, accompanied by a flavorful dipping oil that set the tone for the meal. The pasta dishes were exquisite, with homemade noodles cooked to perfection and sauces that showcased the rich, authentic flavors of Italy. The wood-fired oven pizza was a highlight, boasting a crisp crust and delectable toppings. The menu also offers a variety of fresh seafood and grilled meats, catering to diverse tastes. In addition to the exceptional food and service, Romeo Cucina offers a well-curated selection of wines and cocktails, complementing the menu perfectly. The restaurant also provides catering services and hosts special events, making it a versatile choice for both intimate dinners and larger gatherings. Overall, my experience at Romeo Cucina was nothing short of extraordinary. The combination of delectable cuisine, impeccable service from Rodolfo, and a charming atmosphere makes this restaurant a standout choice for anyone seeking an authentic Italian dining experience in Laguna Beach. I look forward to returning and exploring more of their delightful menu offerings.

The food was okay, was it tasty? Sure it was tasty. We had the Margarita pizza which was average. It wasn't the best nor the worst, very mediocre. We also had the tortellini pesto and the tortellini rose. It was creamy, and well made, however the portion sizes were extremely small for what they were charging. I wouldn't come back. The service was okay and the food was okay. There was nothing special about what we ate. I would avoid this restaurant all together.

Outstanding Filetto di Manzo for the main, with garlic spinach and herb roasted potatoes. Finished with a delightful tiramisu martini and pistachio cannoli; waiter and staff were outstanding and will definitely be back.

They were able to accommodate nine people in just ten minutes It’s amazing! We were tired and hungry after the beach picnic Food were delicious! Especially the pizza 🍕 We ordered three different kind of pizzas and they are all delicious The pink sauce was surprisingly so yummy! I scrapped the sauce clean with my pizza crust! 😂 The waiter and server were very nice and tend to our needs They work and walk very fast 😅 It’s going to be our favorite place to go after a day at the beach!! We can’t wait to go back!
