After a spinal injury that caused neck and upper back pain with tingling down my arm and limited range of motion, my orthopedic surgeon prescribed physical therapy. I chose Rausch Physical Therapy & Wellness based on their excellent reviews and could not be happier with the decision. The injury happened on August 1st. At first, I underestimated its severity and tried hot stone massages, chiropractic care, and acupuncture. Each helped temporarily, but the pain always returned. By the time I saw the orthopedic surgeon, the pain was consistently between 8 and 10 out of 10. Even then, I wasn’t confident that physical therapy would make a difference. From my first day at Rausch, that changed. Dr. Byron and soon-to-be Dr. Alyssa had already reviewed my doctor’s notes, listened carefully to my symptoms, tested my range of motion, and immediately began a targeted recovery plan. After just one session, I noticed improvement. Within three sessions, my mobility increased significantly. Two months later, I’ve gone from constant, excruciating pain to nearly full range of motion, full nights of sleep, minimal medication, and about 90 percent recovery. When I first arrived, I was hunched over and moving slowly. Now, I expect to be swinging a golf club by Christmas. Dr. Byron even took the time to adjust the seats in my car to help relieve pressure on my spine and neck. That level of personal attention made all the difference. Scheduling and rescheduling appointments has been easy, and the front desk team is consistently friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The only minor frustration has been the central call system. One morning I was running five minutes late and called to let them know. I actually arrived at the clinic before the call was transferred to a live agent. On another occasion, the representative had the call on speaker with noticeable background noise, which felt unprofessional. None of this affected the excellent care I received, but it’s worth noting. A huge thank-you to Dr. Byron, Alyssa, and all the Exercise Coaches who supported my recovery: Don, Aveline, Milan, Temar, Ashley, and the rest of the team. If you’re in pain, don’t wait. Go to Rausch PT. I’ve spoken with long-time patients and witnessed firsthand the dedication and expertise of everyone there. I’m writing this review to compliment Dr. Austin and the entire Rausch team for outstanding care after my total knee replacement surgery. Dr. Austin is extremely patient and caring. He tailored my care not only according to the milestones in recovery needed after this surgery but also to my feedback and various aches, pains and physical difficulties. Check in was always easy and the facility was always clean.
Dr. Danielle Melgarejo is outstanding. I am currently working with Dr. Dani and her colleagues on dealing with some significant right hip arthritis and impingement issues impacting my outdoor activities, and I am making documented progress. The entire PT staff at the Laguna Niguel clinic are well trained, knowledgeable, and dedicated to helping you achieve your goals.
WONDERFUL experience at Rausch! Dr.Bailey is my PT -LoVe Her. She's knowledgeable and kind (good combination), however, absolutely everyone is upbeat and helpful. Also a really great Rx massage from Meagan yesterday. Love it ALL
Rolan Flores gives a very deep therapeutic massage! He focuses on areas of tightness other massage therapists were not able to address. His work has improved the range of motion of my shoulder!! I highly recommend him for a deep massage with beneficial results!! Marti
