Good food and sweet atmosphere. My wife brought me here after she had already eaten here twice. The cost is probably about right for a basic hot dog but feels a little high for a hot dog / bratwurst thinking I could eat two for the cost (i purchased “The Angry Samoan) but there was no way I was eating another one after having my drink and fries. So I would say the price is right. Great taste and flavor. Kids wanted the Cheeseburger plain so that was kinda a waste on my part. Server ended up bringing out a mistake “Chili Cheese” Dog, split that with my sister so I could try it. Good taste and flavor all around. No complaints for sure. Would definitely come here again and try something else.

Our workplace heard Rad Brat (now named Rad Beer + Kitchen) had some killer dogs, so we decided to order lunch. We tried calling in for pick up, but there is no way to speak to an actual person. You just keep hitting all the options on the automated system, but it gets you nowhere. We tried ordering online, but were unable to through all the platforms they do delivery through -- including DoorDash and GrubHub but were unable to during their regular business hours during the week. Our work is in San Clemente, so I was asked to drive over to Rad and order on-site. Upon arrival, I found Rad Brat under construction. There was a paper schedule posted out front stating that the renovations would be done in two days, so we said we would try again then. I would have expected or hoped they would update their website to say something about them being under renovation for this long to have avoided the time calling and driving over there for no reason. Long story short, the renovations took longer than two days -- more like two weeks. When they finally did open back up, we found that Rad Brat had changed their name and the entire menu. Our original choices that we had wanted to try were now gone off the menu. Great. We finally, successfully ordered for pickup, and I chose to try the Hot Chicken Sandwich ($12+ with no side) and Minor Threat ($6+ -- 1/2 fries and 1/2 onion rings). The sandwich looked good, tasted decent (but it was soggy on the bottom), BUT after immediately eating it, I felt really sick and nauseous -- I'm talking sick for 6+hours. The fries and onion rings were cold and gross, and I barely ate any of them. They didn't even give me any ketchup like I had specifically asked for in the delivery app. They didn't give us any napkins either which sucked with the mess of a chicken sandwich. My co-workers said the corn dog and hot dog were just puny, run-of-the-mill Nathan's dogs that you can get anywhere. Nothing special. I have to wonder why Rad whatever-their-name-is prices their food so damn high for mediocre food. The wait was not worth it, and I would not return.

Got the street dog and Samoan dog with fries. The bread used for the bun was excellent! Fries were perfectly fried. Went on a Saturday during the farmers market.

Great food, awesome selection of Craft Beer, clean restaurant, and the vibe Dana Point and OC have been craving. Music and style that I haven't found in a restaurant before. I took my family to RAD BRAT for dinner and loved it. We shared the "Minor Threat" Fries/Onion Rings, and I particularly enjoyed the Big Tex. We topped off the meal with Milkshakes. I've been back twice since for the beverages and actually tried the "Big Ugly". It's an all beef dog with loads of Bacon and.. peanut butter. It was super good. Not for the faint-of-heart. RAD BRAT is definitely going to be part of my routine.
