Did a nice job with a water heater replacement, though would have been nice if the installer cleaned up his mess. Knocked a star off because of the aggressive upselling tactics they use. The sales rep insisted I also needed an $8k water purification system, even absurdly claiming that the municipal water supply in Rancho Santa Margarita isn’t safe to drink.
Jason and his team were amazing! They helped us through a whole-house repipe and even guided us on getting a rebate for our new tankless water heater. Fast, clean, and thorough—highly recommend!
Had a leak under the sink and called Personal Plumbing. Elias showed up quickly, fixed it fast, and was super friendly. Really appreciated how clean he left the space too.
I had a slab leak in March of 2023 and Personal Plumbing went and diagnosed the issue as hot water leak in slab and also damage to the sewer line and they wanted to charge me over $4000 for sleeving 10 feet of sewer line and over $15K for re-piping the water line. Luckily, I decided to hold off and get more quotes from other companies. I gave the job of re-piping to another company for about $8K which was almost half the price of Personal Plumbing. I waited over 1 year to write this review since there was no issues with my sewer line. So stay away from this company. Their front line communication seems to be good and helpful from customer point of view but they will try to sell you unnecessary repair, so be careful with this company.
Tyler reached out by phone in response to my inquiry, and took his time to answer all of my questions in detail, down to the make & model of the shower valve that will be replaced so that I can look it up. He was able to schedule the work in a couple days. Oscar came to do the work, and he was prompt (texted on route to give us a heads up) very respectful (had face mask, shoe cover, and floor cover), and helpful (taught us how to work and adjust the new shower.). Clean up was thorough. I was not there, but Tyler called right away to let me know how things went and sent me a report with photos. We had called another two plumbers for estimates, and Personal Plumbing gave the best price. With not as many reviews yet, I took a chance, and I'm glad I did! The entire process felt very personal and positive. Now we have a plumber for future needs!
