I had a slab leak in March of 2023 and Personal Plumbing went and diagnosed the issue as hot water leak in slab and also damage to the sewer line and they wanted to charge me over $4000 for sleeving 10 feet of sewer line and over $15K for re-piping the water line. Luckily, I decided to hold off and get more quotes from other companies. I gave the job of re-piping to another company for about $8K which was almost half the price of Personal Plumbing. I waited over 1 year to write this review since there was no issues with my sewer line. So stay away from this company. Their front line communication seems to be good and helpful from customer point of view but they will try to sell you unnecessary repair, so be careful with this company.
Cody did a great job fixing our pipe leak near the water meter. We have the old polybutylene pipe and he managed to reconnect it to the water meter using copper pipes and sharkbite coupling. Thanks to his hard work we can finally turn our water back on!
Tyler reached out by phone in response to my inquiry, and took his time to answer all of my questions in detail, down to the make & model of the shower valve that will be replaced so that I can look it up. He was able to schedule the work in a couple days. Oscar came to do the work, and he was prompt (texted on route to give us a heads up) very respectful (had face mask, shoe cover, and floor cover), and helpful (taught us how to work and adjust the new shower.). Clean up was thorough. I was not there, but Tyler called right away to let me know how things went and sent me a report with photos. We had called another two plumbers for estimates, and Personal Plumbing gave the best price. With not as many reviews yet, I took a chance, and I'm glad I did! The entire process felt very personal and positive. Now we have a plumber for future needs!
This was my third time with drain cleaners! I live in a mobile home and it was older and very much in need of cleaning. Personal Plumbing was on it from the start. Elias was great. He assessed the problem, came up with a solution and went to work. He is very good at what he does! Great to work with. I can finally wash clothes without worrying about the drain backing up. The camera shows it all.
We finally moved back to our house a couple of weeks ago from restoration after a slab leak so I can finally give a big thumbs up on the work that Personal Plumbing performed on our house. Jose was the lead plumber that initially came to find and fix the slab leak. Very knowledgeable plumber and very transparent - showed me what needed to be done and explained the steps very clearly to me. He took the initiative to get a restoration company to come right away to get the restoration project started. Then when the house insurance wanted us to install an active whole house leak detector or do repipe, we went back to Personal Plumbing for advise. Jason was the lead plumber that came to advice us and really helped us. He, too, was very professional and gave us all our available options and what was involved in all possible scenarios including estimated cost. This was our second slab leak so we took his advise on repiping the whole house, getting rid of the water heater tank that was inside the house (installed incorrectly with no drain to the outside) and having them install a tankless water heater outside. Jason also gave us the scoop on how to get the $1000 cash rebate for the water heater before the deadline past. All repiping and water heater job only took them 3 days... very quick! Their drywall guy came after them and did a fantastic job matching our knock-down textured wall. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my experience with Personal Plumbing and all their work!
