The food is decent. Ordered a Sausage Breakfast Burrito and Potato Taco at 730- ish in the morning. The burrito was massive but barely had any sausage in it. The potato taco was a decently sized portion but barely had potatoes. Both items had “filler” items much more than they had the respective protein.
I didn’t leave a tip, as I never do for drive-thru services. I was never asked if I wanted any hot sauce. I drove away thinking it was already in the bag, but I was unfortunately mistaken.

Great tasting food. Lots of choices. Clean seating area , fast, friendly service with generous portions.

Spent a LONG time waiting to place my order in the drive through for 1 breakfast burrito,$15, paid cash to avoid the 3% card fee. Then waited a LONG time for the food. Asked for plates and forks and knives and plenty of sauce. Got 1 fork, 1 knife, 2 sauces, 2 flimsy plates and a couple of napkins. The burrito was mostly beans and potatoes. I found very little bacon, we won’t be back.

I have always LOVED Pepe's, all locations. Been going since way back when....my first time was on Telegraph & Rosemead. Ahhh, the good ol' days. Ok, so the Brea location (and Placentia too) all have great Mexican food. What i really love about Pepe's is the consistency, each and every time. No matter what i order and whatever location, the food is always the same deliciousness across the board. I love that i can count on the food preparation always being the same and i know that im gonna love it. So many times i go to a place where ill like something but the next time i go its made a little different and doesnt taste the same and not as good. That never happens at Pepe's. All good food, all the time, at all locations. Props to Pepes food preppers 😊 you got it down like dat. Way to go ✌️
You rock! Plus, Brea restaurant is always clean! That is a huge + in my book.

The 1 star is for the pricing of the Pepe's breakfast burrito. Plus $4.50 just to add chorizo and no potatoes. Total came out to $17.50. Ridiculous. And forgot the beans. After requesting a cup of beans and making my own burrito, it came out good. Red salsa has a good kick to it. I am really hoping the price is a mistake. If not, for the price I do not recommend the breakfast burrito.
