Our server was friendly and attentive. Good wine list. I had the bolognese and added the flank steak. The noodles were great. Steak was okay. I was not the biggest fan of the flavor of the sauce. I wish I got the pizza as it looked good.
Parlor, is one of many restaurants owned by the group that also owns Vine restaurant across the street. I've never had a bad meal at any of the restaurants, which also includes Ironwood, Bloom, Olea, Sapphire, and The Pantry. The menu at Parlor is elevated comfort, ranging from pizzas, pastas, and solid dishes such as the porchetta, and grilled chicken. I absolutely love the chicken wing lollipops on the appetizer menu. If you enjoy a cocktail or two, look no further. Parlor's beverage guru, Gabe Whorley is one of the best in the industry. Indicate your preferred flavors and a cocktail suited to your palate will be created for you. A solid pick whether it's a casual weeknight dinner, or a weekend celebration. You won't go wrong going to Parlor.
Last night we hosted our “Mob Wives” themed ladies night at Parlor Woodfire Kitchen & Cocktails and it could not have been a better experience. If you’re looking for a unique spot for a private group gathering, celebration, or special event, their downstairs speakeasy space is fantastic. It comfortably accommodates up to about 30 guests, and our group of 15 felt like the space was perfectly sized, intimate, lively, and ideal for a fun night out. From the moment we arrived, the team took exceptional care of us. Joe, the owner, was incredibly welcoming, and Anthony, our server, was top-notch, attentive, professional, and kept the evening running smoothly for our group. The food was excellent, the cocktails were spot on, and the atmosphere downstairs has that perfect speakeasy vibe that makes a celebration feel a little extra special. If you’re planning a birthday dinner, ladies night, private party, or themed event, I highly recommend checking out Parlor Woodfire Kitchen & Cocktails and reserving their speakeasy space. It’s a hidden gem for hosting a memorable evening with friends. We had an absolute blast and will definitely be back!
Absolutely Fantastic! From the food, to the service, to the ambience, we found Parlor to be absolutely fantastic. We ordered a round of appetizers, each being unique, special and prepared to perfection. The bread was artisan and it was toasted, wiped with a light olive oil and a pinch of salt. All the pasta dishes at the table were super , with handmade noodles and homemade sauce. My arugula salad was fresh, had a clean citrus flavor, topped with pickled onions and loaded with hazelnuts, this salad was a crowd pleaser. And, the small was enough for a meal! For desert, get the “build your own” sundae, it was fun to prepare and satisfying to eat. The service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was festive coastal. Parlor comes highly recommended.
We went on opening night and had an all around top notch experience. The Tagliatelle Bolognese was incredible and rivaled the best we had on our recent travels to Bologna. The Fennel Sausage pizza was very tasty with a light and crispy crust and just the right amount of chewiness. And the Crispy Chicken Parmesan was delicious; the chicken was moist yet crisp on the outside and came with a generous portion of parmesan and delectable smoked mozzarella cheese served aside perfectly al dente hand cut fettuccine. The ambiance and decor were both welcoming and sophisticated, and we thoroughly enjoyed the layout and contemporary comfortability of the outside patio. Staff was attentive and friendly, our water glasses were always full, napkins were re-folded when we visited the restroom, our food came out quickly and the ideal temperature, and drinks were generous in size and thoughtfully crafted. Kudos to Parlor Woodfire Kitchen & Cocktails for succeeded in bringing a stylish and delightful slice of authentic Italian cuisine to San Clemente! We can't wait to return.
