Beyond their size, small businesses are defined by their spirit. And at the helm are their intrepid founders—scrappy, ambitious, and resilient. They invent and build things despite uncertainty, because it’s what drives them. Their risks lead to innovation that moves the world forward. And we need them.
We are a regular here (단골). We always love going back to this restaurant because of friendly staff, delicious food. One of the best black noodle (jjajangmyun) places in Orange County. It’s simple, but so authentic. Their sweet & sour pork (탕수육) is also very good: crunchy and chewy! Thank you to the owner and staff here 🙏🏻🙏🏻
My family and I went there without much expectations. We were just glad to have a Korean-Style Chinese food restaurant in Brea. A little hole-in-the-wall spot next to Target. If you drive fast you might miss it. We ordered three foods but I'm going to talk about just one, pan-jjajangmien. By far, without a doubt, the best jjajang mien I've ever had. You can feel how it was prepared with such care & planning. Vusual: nice amount of muscles & climbs on top. It wasn't dripping with wet sauce. Portion: jangban (pan) noodles are usually large, but this was tidy & medium portion. Perfect for small sharing or for one. Color: nice shiny black of jjajang, not milk chocolate color. Flavor: The flavor is the bomb. Nice hint of bulmat (fire grilled flavor). Not sweet. Not oily. Not watery. NOODLE: The noodle is the best al dente noodle of all my noodle experience. Chewey, bouncy, springy, but soft enough. Without a lot of oil, the sauce beautiful coated the noodle. Just Chewing alone made me happy. It was more like the best jjajang pasta I've ever had. When I was paying my bill I complemented the noodle to our server and he told me he makes the noodles from scratch everyday himself! This young man looked no more than 25 - 30. What an incredible talent and dedication. I'm definitely going back to try all of their menu!!
A hole in the wall Korean-style Chinese restaurant. Absolutely amazing flavors in every dish. Highly recommend giving this a try
12/15 ordered a beef fried rice togo. The receptionist was friendly and the food was prepared promptly and I took off in no time. This is the first time trying out this place but i felt like the fried rice was a little bit more on the greasy side. You be the judge and see if that cooking oil was overly excessive.
I had Jjamppong and Tangsuyuk at Brea Pan Holic, and both were absolutely fantastic. The Jjamppong had an amazing smoky flavor with just the right amount of spice — truly one of the best I’ve ever had. The Tangsuyuk was perfectly crispy, not greasy at all, and incredibly delicious. On top of that, the service was excellent, and the restaurant itself was very clean and welcoming. Everything about this place was perfect — an authentic Korean-style Chinese restaurant experience.
