From the moment I walked through the doors, I knew I was in for something truly extraordinary. The moment I stepped inside, I was greeted warmly by the friendly and attentive staff. Their professionalism and genuine enthusiasm for their craft were evident throughout the evening. We did not have luncheon reservations but the very sweet hostess asked us to wait & she would get us a table. The restaurant was very busy as it was the height of the lunch rush. It was only about 15 minutes & she showed us to our table. Our very cheerful waiter gave us menus & asked for our drink order. Our drinks were served quickly & our lunch order taken. We ordered the Enchiladas with a very long name that I can’t spell (😂) but the presentation was just beautiful! 2 large chicken enchiladas in 2 types of sauces & garnished with a cheese spray design…I should have taken a photo! This was my first visit to Nick’s but it won’t be my last! It has a lively Mexican atmosphere & the servers all wore friendly smiles😁👍 The prices are what I expected… about $15-25 for a luncheon entree plus drinks & dessert if you have room… we were FULL & didn’t have dessert. The hardest part was finding a parking space, we circled until a van left & we were able to park. Nick has some parking in the back but since it was so busy, the parking lot was full. Probably next time we will come before or after the busiest time. But we truly ENJOYED our delicious lunch!😃👍🥰
Delicious food and beautiful ambience. We brought some clients there to enjoy dinner and as usual the restaurant was very full. Lucky for us, they got us in without a reservation at 5:20 pm on a Wednesday. The server was very attentive. I ordered a vegan burger with fries and loved it. The other people in my group ordered the full rack of ribs, chicken, pot pie, and the kale salad. Everyone loved their food so much. We will definitely be returning.
We love Nick's San Clemente. We come to this nice town once in awhile for some peace and to get away. This time we decided to visit Nick's San Clemente again to celebrate not only Valentine's but also our anniversary. I am beyond happy and satisfied with our visit. The food was delicious and the drinks were too. At the end of our visit the servers handed us a thank you letter with their signatures. This was so nice of them. I can't wait to come back again.
The presentation of their food alone is worth a visit to Nick’s! Seriously, this place takes your dining experience to a whole new level - everything they do is excellent - and tell me that presentation isn’t a huge part of that?! What about the quality and taste - spectacular! Five out of the six of us got the sea bass and it was insane - matched with mashed potatoes and cooked spinach. Cooked perfectly, tasted awesome. The other person got the pot pie - just look at that presentation - the letter “N” on top - and the chicken and veggies inside were awesome as well. Asparagus fingers and deviled eggs were great appetizers as well. Nick’s is first class all the way! Oh, also heard the butter cake was insane, but we didn’t try it - have to return another time for that!
