Vibrant local eatery, big nice bar, fun vibe, good food, and excellent cocktails and wine. Like many of the other reviewers, the atmosphere is energetic but also loud. Asparagus Fries were good and tasty, crispy not soft. Fresh Sea Bass was wonderful, perfectly cooked and had a big portion.
I drove up from a business trip in San Diego just to have the Cioppino. Did not disappoint. Fish, shrimp, clams and mussels were perfectly cooked. Place has a great vibe, seems to be a local favorite.
Nick's never disappoints: superb food, service, decor and music. And the food just looks beautiful. We got the mouthwatering halibut, tuna tartare, entre salad and butter cake. Nick's is expanding in So Cal, I've been to almost all the locations and they are all excellent.. definitely make reservations!
Excellent food and service. We ordered 2 appetizers, a salad, and 4 entrees for 4 people. Everything was tasty and took home a lot of leftovers. Restaurant was a bit dark and extremely loud but some may like that ambiance.
We recently enjoyed a meal at Nick’s San Clemente and I can’t speak highly enough of it. They were very busy when we arrived but each member of staff was polite and kind and made us feel comfortable while our table was made ready. The atmosphere was perfection and the open air feel was just what we wanted! The food, both in presentation and flavor, was exceptional as well. But the real star of the show was the friendly service- which is saying something considering how great the food was. Gina took excellent care of our table, with welcome recommendations and lovely conversation. Everyone was so friendly and we will, without a doubt, be dining here again and bringing friends!
