Beyond their size, small businesses are defined by their spirit. And at the helm are their intrepid founders—scrappy, ambitious, and resilient. They invent and build things despite uncertainty, because it’s what drives them. Their risks lead to innovation that moves the world forward. And we need them.
Delicious Mexican food and nice size beverages! Good variety on the menu and spacious seating with lovely o it door seating (was raining for us so didn’t get to partake). Would definitely go again.
Great taco Tuesday. Service is barely ok. Hard shell Tacos are awesome. Ground beef. Chicken. Potato. Shredded beef. Beautiful patio. If service was better and more attentive it would make for a better experience.
Had been wanting to try this place for a while and know I wasn't missing out on anything, my salad was the blandest thing I've event ordered. Reminded me of hospital food. Then other plates where not great either. Service was good, servers where attentive and friendly but the food was not it.
Amazing experience . Service: 11/10. Was fast & so friendly, like we were family friends. Food: 10/10. By far best chicken tortilla soup I’ve ever had. Spanish rice was amongst very best I’ve had anywhere. Their green sauce in one of our entrees was amazingly balanced. Chile Colorado was flavorful/ tender. Fresh tortillas, draft beer in big glass vessels! Cannot believe I’ve been coming to SoCal for 25yrs & had never been here. Morenos is on my Mt Rushmore of Mexican restaurant places now. If in the OC, we will come here. Patio was quiet & very relaxing! Dog-friendly patio too.
We decided to have a date night and came here lastnight, I have been coming for years. The patio is wonderful and beautiful but there was a 30 minute wait for patio vs the inside. We chose to sit inside. The chips we were given were stale and gross, the salsa tasted off. We ordered guacamole and it was sour, absolutely awful. We sent it back. We contemplated leaving at that point, I wish we would have, but decided to continue on. I ordered shrimp tacos, my husband ordered asada tampiquena. The shrimp tacos were terrible, the shrimp appears to be boiled, with no seasoning whatsoever. They claim to have grilled onions on it, but there certainly were no grilled onions. I had to ask for salt to eat them, and extra sauce. My husband's steak tasted like it was boiled, absolutely flavorless and chewy. The only thing he enjoyed was the enchilada, but the cheese wasn't even fully melted. Absolutely disappointing. Then we decided to order a couple margaritas because how can you mess those up? I got the chamoy mango margarita, my husband got the strawberry. Mine was delicious, he said his was lacking flavor but it was ok. We decided to opt in for dessert, I got the churros, he wanted to try the flan. The churros are absolutely out of this world delicious. The flan was awful, absolutely zero flavor. So as we are enjoying dessert I kid you not a roach ran across our table, then we saw one on the wall next to us, then on the table next to us. I almost puked. We got up and ran out of there so fast. This place used to be amazing, it has gone downhill big time in the past 3 or 4 years. So disappointed.
