We sat in the dog friendly patio with three small dogs. I ate the breakfast skillet (enough for two) and it was delicious. My friend had the potable lo sandwich and she really enjoyed her sweet potato fries. The service was friendly and Downtown Fullerton is just down the street.
Parking can be challenging but we parked behind the restaurant. There is street parking so be prepared to walk a short distance.

Monkey Business Cafe has a comfy and homey vibe that feels like a local favorite spot. This cafe is perfect for being productive or for relaxation. I visited twice on weekdays. Both times were calm with plenty of seating. You order at the register and seat yourself. Staff are friendly and helpful.
I tried the Chilaquiles ($16), Breakfast Tacos ($16), and Chicken Tortilla Soup ($13). The Breakfast Tacos were my favorite — you get two big tacos with egg, chorizo, cilantro, cheddar cheese, plus seasoned potatoes and black beans on the side. Their website mentions that they make their food from scratch whenever possible, and you can tell with the potatoes. The seasoning was perfect. The potatoes tasted fresh and homemade with the skins left on which I loved. All dishes tasted good and were shareable portions though everything could have used more warmth.
The cafe sits next to a neighborhood. The parking lot is small but street parking is available as well.

I came to Monkey Business and ordered the Breakfast Skillet. It was the right size for a grown man like myself. The veggies were a great addition to feel fulfilled at the end. Definitely a must have meal.

Parking was a challenge but the SERVICE was excellent. Everyone greeted us with a big smile. Positive energy was free-flowing. There were a lot of available tables. I'm glad it's not crowded but it could be because we went there on a Thursday morning.
The food was delicious. The serving is HUMONGOUS which we enjoyed! The pancake was bigger than my face...lol.
I liked my breakfast with bacon, scrambled eggs, pancake. I didn't like the fruits that came it. The honeydue melon didn't taste fresh at all. But that's forgivable bec everything else was good.
The reason I put a three star on the rating for their atmosphere is because where we're seated, I could smell something stinky which I think came from the bathroom.
I hope they'll clean it better in the future so when we come back, we'll enjoy this place more.
Oh, before I forget, for the amount of food that was served, their prices were so affordable...impressive!

Everything looked delicious, but honestly, the *huevos rancheros verdes* and the red *chilaquiles* were horrible—completely flavorless. The sauces were extremely sour; it was disgusting. The chorizo was also a total letdown. I won't be coming back.
