I was hesitant to try this Mastro's because I've always considered this restaurant as more of a destination dining experience. Decided to finally give this location a try and I was not disappointed.
We decided to splurge and started off with the Dungeness Crab Cocktail and Wagyu Beef Roll. The Crab Cocktail was served with an amazing smoky presentation. Each piece of crab was so sweet and moist. The Wagyu Beef Roll was kind of a weird mix of flavors with aspaagus, jalapeno, and the sauce.
For our entrees we ordered the 22oz Bone-in Ribeye with Peppercorn sauce and the Crispy Garlic Bigeye Tuna Sashimi. The Ribeye was cooked to a perfectly juicy Medium Rare and the Sashimi was packed with flavor.
The sides we ordered were the Scalloped Potatoes and Creamed Corn. The Creamed Corn was some the best I've had, but our potatoes were undercooked and hard. Our server was quick to swap them out for the Garlic Mashed Potatoes, which were much better.
Overall the food was top notch and the service was on point. I used to come here when it was Del Frisco's and I'm impressed with how they remodeled the interior to achieve more of a fine dining atmosphere.

First time dining at the Irvine location since they opened last year. Met my girlfriends here for dinner and overall had a wonderful experience. Michael was our server and he was attentive, friendly, and kept the pacing smooth all night. We were never rushed, never forgotten. We started with the bone marrow, chopped salad, and the burrata with heirloom tomato and fig, which were all well executed and great for sharing. For mains, my gf ordered filet mignon, and I went with the Mastro’s House Salad, adding ahi tuna for protein still one of my favorites, especially with the signature black tiger shrimp that makes it feel indulgent but balanced. Cocktails were good, and as expected, the wine list is deep and well curated. The atmosphere is polished, still busy even on a tuesday night. That said, while this Irvine outpost is a strong addition, I still personally prefer the Newport Coast location it just has that extra something when it comes to ambiance. Still, a dependable choice for a group dinner, special occasion, or when you’re craving classic Mastro’s done right.

Casually was walking around the spectroom and came across this 💎, the restaurant haven't disappointed, Mastro’s Ocean Club exceeded every expectation from the moment we walked in. The friendliness and attentiveness of the staff made the entire evening feel warm, welcoming, and effortlessly luxurious. The atmosphere was elegant yet comfortable — dim lighting, beautiful ambiance, and the perfect setting for an unforgettable dinner.
Every dish arrived looking like a masterpiece. The food presentation was absolutely stunning, with every detail carefully crafted. And the steak… easily one of the most tender, soft, and flavorful steaks I’ve ever had. Each juicy bite melted perfectly, packed with rich flavor and cooked to absolute perfection.
From the service to the atmosphere to the quality of the food, everything was flawless. Truly a 5-star dining experience that I can’t wait to return to.

I loved the food and the service. I had the Japanese A5 Wagyu and it melted in my mouth like butter! So delicious! I also enjoyed the wine selection and the deserts. We had a really good time there.

These guys knocked it out of the park for us. From the seafood tower to the steaks to the “first ever butter cake tower” that I promised I wouldn’t post on social media because everyone else would be jealous. The service was impeccable making my small birthday celebration a massive success!
