Despite its shortcomings in taste, if you're looking for a budget-friendly option with ample servings and decent service, L&L Hawaiian Barbecue might suffice. However, those seeking authentic or flavorful Hawaiian cuisine might want to explore other dining options in the area.
Always good with nice portions keeps me coming back for the Chicken Katsu plate. The Half and Half plates are a nice option too. A wide variety of items on the menu.
The waitress was very distracted talking with her coworker instead of paying attention to customers. Eye to eye contact goes a long way. The place has benn much cleaner in the past.
Katsu chicken was great. Enjoyed the meal. The rice and katsu sauce need work. Staff were friendly, store was clean and the service was quick.

Maybe pictures of Pele, the Hawaiian volcano erupting. $$ Maybe a geographical high definition satellite picture of all the islands and the whole state of Hawai'i. $$$ Maybe have TVs on Honolulu or Maui, like surfing competitions and life in Hawai'i. $$ Peaceful music to set the ambiance and mood associated with the Hawaiian lifestyle.
