Beyond their size, small businesses are defined by their spirit. And at the helm are their intrepid founders—scrappy, ambitious, and resilient. They invent and build things despite uncertainty, because it’s what drives them. Their risks lead to innovation that moves the world forward. And we need them.
Location is outdoors, simple to order and good food. We got the OG, the chorizo burrito and a side of tater tots but we didn’t need them bc the burritos are stuffed with tots. They were good in flavor just personally not our style but definitely give em a try. Their salsas were not spicy they have more of a mayo/creamy flavor to them. We payed $0.50 each for LJ sauce and creamy cilantro, I believe it comes a tiny LJ sauce but u can purchase more if you’d like. There was no line today so only took a few mins to place our order and be on our way. There’s some tables outside to eat but they look dirty perhaps bc it rained 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♀️ but you can check out what we saw in our 4k video. Saw signs they cater in case you are interested. Lastly wanted to mention the tater tots are extra crispy and crunchy. If that’s your style you will love them, but if it’s not the you might find them a bit dry. In my opinion they were delicious just that it overpowered the other flavors.
Came to try this place because they're known for their breakfast burritos. Placed order online and got text message updates when food was ready. Got the OG and chorizo. Cannot recommend them enough. The OG with their sauce is incredible. Crispy tots and savory sausage is a great combo. The chorizo burrito is amazing. The chorizo has an incredible unique flavor. Their house salsas are good also. Definitely worth the trip for some burritos. Highly recommend.
It was my first time, I ordered the OG burrito! They did not skimp out on anything, I felt like it was a great portion of eggs some places don’t give you a lot of eggs in your burrito. Flavor was on point. Their medium green salsa had a good kick. Very smart of them to be outside of a Home Depot. I think they should have multiple locations outside of Home Depot.
Stopped by LJ’s Lil’ Cafe while running errands in the area and didn’t expect much beyond a quick breakfast, but it ended up being a solid find. It’s set up in the Home Depot parking lot, so definitely easy to miss if you’re not looking for it. We ordered the Spicy OG Breakfast Burrito, LJ’s Breakfast Sammy, the LA Dog, and the queso tots. The Spicy OG breakfast burrito was probably the best one I’ve had recently in the OC — good size, filling, and the flavors worked really well together. The queso tots were also really good and easy to share. The LJ’s Sammy was solid, especially with their sauce, and the LA Dog was a nice extra if you’re in the mood for something different. They have a couple of picnic tables, but most seem to order for takeout as we did too. Overall, it’s a great spot to keep in mind if you’re nearby and want a reliable breakfast. I’d come back to try more of the menu.
It is not worth the $17 and one hour it took for me to get the burrito. It was disappointing and I feel like I could've gotten any other burrito from a small taco stand that would have been equally as good, only about $10, and a 5 minute drive through. In total it was about $35 for two burritos and two sauces. Do not waste your time and get caught in the social media bait
