We chose Larsen for a special dinner with family friends visiting from overseas because of its beautiful setting, but our experience with our server, Lorenzo C., was extremely disappointing.
My white husband initially ordered the appetizers, and Lorenzo was friendly toward him. While my husband stepped away, I ordered the entrees, and his attitude became noticeably cold and dismissive. When my husband returned and ordered more food, Lorenzo was suddenly friendly again. The difference in treatment was difficult to ignore.
Later, when our entire table was out of water, I asked him for a refill. He clearly heard me but walked directly past and ignored me. Even the guests at the next table heard and looked over. I eventually had to ask another employee.
I cannot say what motivated his behavior, but being treated so differently from my husband made me feel unwelcome and discriminated against. A beautiful location does not make up for disrespectful service.

This has easily become one of my favorite restaurants in OC. Sunset here are immaculate. The food is great and the staff is wonderful. Mario (server) & Ashley (hostess) are my favorite!

The loveliest service, food and ambiance. Hector our waitor was an absolute gem. Super professional, attentive, sweet and made our experience absolutely wonderful. Definitely lively on a Friday night but the view and the service cannot be beaten.

This place is a good fine in a very busy area. You enter through a fairly run down parking area - but don’t be discouraged. Inside is very nice with great views. Drinks were nice and well priced given the location. Food was as expected - not excellent but nice.

The food was flavorless I had a chicken sandwich that had no flavor the bread and butter side order was soooo hard the lobster roll was plain and the french bread was also hard and from what my family said that no one liked the food was was nice was the view the servers were very friendly and the valet parking was very convenient.
