I'm a new patient to this office and so far everyone was friendly. Dr. C was super friendly and very thorough with his examination. He's probably the nicest eye Dr. I've had in a long time. Evelyn was very nice, informative and gave me her expertise on my lens and frames. They accepted my medi-cal/caloptima insurance. Nice frames and limited selection for what Caloptima covers. I look forward to picking up my new glasses in a few weeks. Thank you to Dr. C and staff for a pleasant and friendly experience! I'll definitely be back for my eye care needs.
Dr. Choueiry lived up to the reviews on YELP and GOOGLE. They accept my Medi-cal insurance. The exam and frames/lenses were completely covered. Insurance limits choices. Front staff HANNAH was sweet, polite, friendly and accommodating. I am leaving town and had to complete exam and collect the glasses before I leave so I was forced to pester her everyday to see if there were any cancellations. She was patient and kind to me. I completed the check in paperwork online. The facility is small. One doctor. Two staff. The doctor was friendly, professional and quick. My last eye exam was 24yr ago. I have prescription for distance, reading and computer. I spent a long time with the onsite optician EVEYLYN. I asked her for her advice every step of the way since she is the expert. She was patient, kind, friendly. She helped me pick out the frames, the lenses and choose which prescription. I went with computer only glasses since 90% of my reading is on the laptop. She kept in touch with me by email and text and informed me the day my glasses arrived from the lab. Overall great experience with the Doctor and his staff. It was my first time here but will be recommending to others. Thank you Dr. Choueiry , Hannah and Evelyn.
Today 6/18/2024 I rushed from my work to pick up my son’s contact lens. Got there at 5:01 pm, and the medical assistant shaked her head and left her seat without even coming to the door. Courtesy is definitely lost here!! No more Laguna Niguel Optometry for my family!!! No more!!
Dishonest and deceptive! Avoid! Came in just for an eye exam. Which they did. Also they did a contact lens fitting without being transparent about cost at the end. I never asked to fit lenses. I didn't know it was in additional cost of assessment as they tricked me into it and didn't say anything till then end when it was time to pay. "Why don't you try one these dailies and see how you like them compared to your weekly ones you use". No mention of cost. Double claim for them and an additional 60 copay for me for something I didn't ask for. In these financial times don't waste time with shady practices. Plenty of optometrists around - AVOID Update- The below claims by this practice are false - they are flat out lying and shifting blame. I will be submitting formal complaint to the California State Board of Optometry (Board) per their guidelines. No way to treat patients by lying and shifting blame. You did not ask for fitting in the beginning reason for visit - you did not even know I wore contacts at that time. It was my first visit. This discovery happened during the visit. The below interaction demonstrates this poor customer service and dishonest approach .
Wonderful team, highly professional, extremely positive, customer oriented, they give you all the time you need and make sure to explain in details and answer all questions, competitive prices, glasses and contacts arrived quickly. Very pleasant experience for both my daughter and I, already recommend them to a friend and they had the same wonderful experience. Tried few places in Orange County throughout the years and they stand out by far.
