LNCC is one of the best local chamber of commerces. They are very organized and supportive. There are monthly networking events in which you get chance to meet local business owners. I can’t imagine anyone has a small business in Laguna Niguel and don’t join them.
Joining the Laguna Niguel Chamber of Commerce 12+ years ago was the absolute best business decision I've made! The Chamber helped promote my business through advertising and networking opportunities, taught me how to network and speak before an audience, and helped me develop lasting professional and personal relationships. If anyone wants to either grow their business, or get to know local businesses, I highly recommend contacting the Laguna Niguel Chamber of Commerce.
The Laguna Niguel Chamber of Commerce is a great organization that brings together local OC businesses and entrepreneurs to drive COMMERCE! I’ve had nothing, but great experiences in the last 5 years as a member. Their ability to juggle local government, community events, philanthropy and still drive value for small business members (like myself) is what keeps me renewing my membership year after year. Dianne Smith is one of the great people that just happens to be an integral part of the cohesiveness of this chamber, but the recent addition of Scott Alvey as the LNCC president has added a new dimension, his ability to pivot with the emergence of Covid-19 in the face of adversity by embracing technology that he has leveraged to cope and improve the LNCC shows the progressive nature of this chamber. Needless to say, I highly recommend the LNCC and would encourage anyone serious about doing business in Orange County to come and check them out for yourself!
Never had I ever have so many bad experiences with a chamber executive. I'm only giving this chamber one star because Debbie Newman is no longer running the chamber and I've had nothing but issues since there has been a new CEO taken the reigns. If I could, I'd give this review no stars. First, it starts off with scheduling a Trifecta road show with the Realtors, Builders, and Apartment Associations called the "State of Housing." On a Friday night at 7pm, the week prior, i receive a phone call with both chamber staff members (Scott and Dianne), and he says that our title doesn't make sense, is too boring and nobody will show up. I responded with, based off our speakers, people will show up. Scott kept being combative and suggested we name it "what are the RHNA numbers and how does it affect you?" I said that is not our presentation, what you're thinking of is SCAG. We're calling it "State of Housing" just like how other events are "State of the County" or "State of the City." As he keeps arguing back, I reiterate that this is the title that our three organizations agreed upon and I simply cannot change it the Friday night prior to our presentation. I tell him that I'm going on vacation the following week and we can just postpone it since there's a disagreement. Scott says "don't act like that" and "don't be like that" and concluded with we're going to keep the meeting as scheduled. As I come back from my vacation, I sort through my emails and see that he changed the title without the speakers and organizations approval. Fast forward, ever since then, I've heard from multiple colleagues all year long that he's bad mouthing the OC Realtors and I all around town. What kind of chamber CEO goes around bad mouthing their own MEMBER and historically speaking, SPONSOR of multiple events throughout the year?! And til this day, STILL bad mouthing their current member and organization to fellow colleagues?? We have been a member of the chamber since even before I came along and I've been with my association for 14.5 years. Never have I ever dealt with such unprofessionalism. It's very questionable, why would we continue to support the chamber by paying dues and sponsoring any events?
Best Chamber anywhere. Great leadership and very member friendly.
