Beyond their size, small businesses are defined by their spirit. And at the helm are their intrepid founders—scrappy, ambitious, and resilient. They invent and build things despite uncertainty, because it’s what drives them. Their risks lead to innovation that moves the world forward. And we need them.
What really pleased me was there was construction going on, super quiet and there was a flyer handed out that the water would be turned off on a saturday night, from 10 p m to 5 a m. I like that attentiveness, and the fact that it was done when most people would be sleeping. The hotel room was slightly above average. We ordered breakfast room service the night before with a scheduled delivery and the meal was great. Far better than others I've experienced with room service breakfasts. The cost of an Uber from Orange County airport is about $35 dollars and a 25 minute ride. There is a bar with an outside patio and a magnificent view of the harbor.
Was here for a conference. The Laguna Cliffs Marriott is an absolute gem. From the moment you arrive, the ocean views set the tone. Waking up to the sound of the waves and watching the sunset from the property feels like a true Southern California escape. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, and the grounds are beautifully maintained with palm trees, fire pits, and plenty of places to relax. The pool and hot tubs are perfect after a day at the beach, and the location is unbeatable. You’re close to Dana Point Harbor, great restaurants, coastal walks, and some of the best scenery in Orange County. We’ll absolutely be back.
Very solid stay overall. The property is clearly well maintained and it shows in the common areas, rooms, and facilities. Service was consistently good across the board. Staff was attentive without being overbearing and things worked the way they should, which is not always a given. The facilities are in good shape, the bar is lively and well run, and the breakfast buffet is genuinely good with enough variety to not feel repetitive. The crowd was also a plus. Relaxed, respectful, and a good mix, which made the experience feel more upscale without being stuffy. The New Year’s party was especially well executed. Good energy, well organized, and actually fun rather than a half-hearted hotel event. For a Marriott, this property performs above expectations and delivers a clean, comfortable, and well-managed experience.
Lovely resort altogether! Staff very nice n accomadating:) helpful rooms clean. Views wonderful. Fun resort vibe w newish aquarium/Terrerium balls on patio! Outside restaurant fabulous. We stayed for president day weekend and they were doing major construction at the hotel. We went to our 1st room they gave us and it was literally a construction view with dust and noise. We asked for another view but they were being difficult on giving us better view room. We got slightly better view at the end after keep pressuring them but we couldn’t sleep all night because of the construction noise. Water was shut from 10pm to 5am so no one could use bathroom. Even in the morning, you can see milky water running instead of clear water from the bathroom. We didn’t take a shower because the water looked so dirty. After a rough night, we went to the pool and realized the pool side rooms are not construction view and had no noise! We really don’t understand why they didn’t give us a room on this side when it looks like hotel wasn’t full. Our stay here was our worst experience. staffs were not friendly at all. They keep saying they gave us an upgrade when the room looked exactly the same. They simply lied to us. We went to many hotels around the world but we don’t recommend staying here.
