We learned about how he first got started, about how much time he spends getting his grapes, and more about how passionate he is about his work. Won’t call it a job, because when you love what you do, it’s never a job!! Thanks again for the wonderful end to our amazing trip from Michigan to Southern California. Laguna Canyon Winery is my favorite now; this wine is absolutely incredible! The barrell tasting experience exceeded my expectations: JJ is an amazing host (shout-out to Christina as well!). You can see how JJ's passion and knowledge create magic. We started off with the most lovely sparkling rose while learning more about the winery and winemaking process. I couldn't believe the number and variety of wines we got to try, along with a delightful charcuterie board. This has set a high bar for wine tasting now and I feel a little sad thinking back on other experiences and how they pale in comparison. I thought I might leave with maybe two bottles; I left with two BOXES. I am so excited to come back with EVERYONE I KNOW. If you like wine, you have to go here.
Pros: - You can enjoy a good atmosphere and beautiful scenery. - You can taste various kinds of wine (Fixed price for tasting) - The staff is friendly and provides good explanations. Cons: - You can’t come here after watching the sunset at Laguna Beach (It closed earlier than you expected at 5:30 PM) - Reservations are required for tastings Laguna Canyon Winery is one of the famous wineries in Orange County. It is recommended to make a reservation before visiting. 😊
Wow!! What a great tasting experience at the Laguna Canyon Winery! The young lady gave us tips and suggestions on which wines to try and even showed us a video on the wine making process. We had an amazing visit today for our tasting. Check out the Groupon. We had a great time tasting wines with the owner. We enjoyed every taste we selected. You truly can’t go wrong on anything. Make sure to have a meal prior because the only food is the meat cheese and crackers. As it should be so you know they focus on their amazing wine. This is a must if you are traveling at Laguna even for a day. We spent about an hour here and don’t forget to ask about their membership program. Casual date day event. Will return!!!
