Stopped by Kabuki after shopping at Brea Mall and had a really enjoyable meal. The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out surprisingly fast.
We ordered the sukiyaki udon, tonkotsu ramen, a salmon avocado roll, and an eel roll. The udon was warm and comforting with tender beef, and the ramen broth was rich without being too heavy. The sushi was fresh, and the salmon was especially good.
I was dining with my son, and he finished almost his entire bento box with yakisoba and a California roll, which rarely happens since he’s a picky eater! That alone made the visit worth it.
The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly, and the service was attentive. Overall, it was a great experience, and we’ll definitely be back the next time we’re at Brea Mall. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a reliable Japanese spot in the area.

Stopped by Kabuki in Brea for lunch and had an amazing meal. The food here is incredibly fresh and the menu has a great variety of options.
Here is what we tried and loved:
Sushi Bento: A fantastic all-in-one option. It features a great mix of fresh nigiri, rolls, crispy tempura, and sides. Highly recommend if you want a taste of everything!
Tonkotsu Ramen: The broth was super rich and comforting, packed with perfectly cooked noodles and thick, tender chashu pork.
Truffle Yellowtail Roll & Freshwater Eel: The truffle aroma on the yellowtail roll was incredible, and the eel was grilled to perfection—sweet, savory, and melted right in my mouth.
The service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere was great. It’s definitely a solid spot for Japanese food if you are in the area. Will absolutely be back to try more!

Our whole family came to Kabuki in Brea, and everything we ordered was so delicious!
The sashimi was super fresh, if you like sashimi, you have to order the Deluxe Sashimi. It’s so worth it and even comes with sweet shrimp.
The BBQ beef short ribs were super tender and juicy. My daughter loved it so much and said we need to order another plate!
We also ordered Truffle Tuna Nachos, Yellowtail Carpaccio, and the Kabuki Specialty Roll — everything was amazing. So flavorful and so good.
I also got a Kawaii Sunset cocktail — sweet, fruity, and really refreshing. They have a nice full bar.
And don’t forget dessert — Tempura Strawberry Ice Cream and Taiyaki Vanilla Ice Cream. Hot and crispy outside, cold and creamy inside. Perfect for whole family to share!

This is a perfect place for happy hour, family dinner, date night, or special occasions. They have patio seatings. We will definitely come back again!

16 of us came here for dinner. We waited about 15 minutes for our tables in the terrace. I ordered the sushi moriawase and the food is decent. Since we have a large party, there were a couple mistakes with our order which is understandable. We also needed to remind the staff to refill our water, and for extra gari. It took close to 30 minutes for us to get our main entrée. One order did not arrive until 40 minutes.

This is one of the better Kabuki locations I’ve visited. I love that the patio is covered and heated it made for a very comfortable dining experience. Their happy hours are amazing, especially on the weekends.
We were able to order multiple rolls, entrées, and drinks for the whole family at a price that truly couldn’t be beat. The service was impeccable, a real team effort from start to finish.
This spot has definitely become our new go-to for Japanese food. Honestly, I hate to recommend it because I’d love to keep it to ourselves, but it’s too good not to share. Highly recommend!
