I've eaten here, or ordered from here, several times over the last year or so. Great New York style pizza, especially their giant 20" with big foldable slices. I especially love their BBQ chicken pizza. On top of great pizza though, they have great service. They rarely make mistakes, but when they do, they proactively offer to fix it (via a new pizza) and they even give you the messed up pizza free of charge. Great pizza, great service,
Tried for the first time because wife wanted something other than Domino's and their website claimed $4 off for 18-inch pizza with in store pickup. Got to the store and paid $40.80 for both pizzas. I asked about the $4 off, the person in the store stated "you need to ask for the discount on the phone when you place the order". Ok, I get it. After trying their pizza and feeling stiffed, I have no reason to ever return. There are other pizza places far better with better treatment of customers.
We have been going here since it opened . In the beginning it was great. Amazing .. Now it’s seems to have gone down hill. Possible new manager woman. Rude!! Very Rude! Have given us wrong salad twice. We told her she could care less. Not just wrong saks it was a half finished salad!🤬🤬🤬 Today pizza wasn’t great! What happened ??? Customer service awful … now food not great.. sad so sad.. Owner needs to have better management! So disappointed!!
Superb!! we had an Amazing vegetarian pizza, it had fresh dough and they have a lot of veg options. Definitely will be back!! This is the best homemade pizza you can get... i have never been more impressed by a pizza :) love this place !!!
I started going to Johnies years ago in Newport Beach and Corona Del Mar. I’m from NY and it’s the best pizza in CA. It helped that they were also the nicest people, however I will NEVER go to the Johnies in Laguna Niguel again. On March 26,, 2021 my son wanted his favorite pizza Johnies. The website said they were open till 9:00PM and Yelp said they were open till 8:30. I showed up at 8:25 and they said they were closed and I could not get a slice of pizza for my son. 5 young kids working that could care less about the customer. BTW they were making a pizza for themselves when I walked in. Johnies was a slice of NYC in CA. No longer for me. You make your own choice...
