Joe never fails. The food is always amazing, and the service is top notch. His staff is seriously one of the best parts of the place. I’m not sure where he finds such great people to work for him, but everyone is always friendly, helpful, and actually seems happy to be there. That’s getting harder and harder to find these days.
And this sounds insane considering it’s an Italian restaurant, but I had one of the absolute best steaks I’ve ever had here. Perfectly cooked and just ridiculously good. Obviously the Italian food is great, but the fact that I’m still thinking about the steak says a lot.
Joe has built a great place with great food and even better people. We’ve been here plenty of times and it’s consistently good. Keep it up, Joe. We’ll definitely keep coming back.

Just went here for the first time and it was SO good! Excellent food with good variety, great atmosphere, and our server Lexie was amazing! She was so nice to my six year old and never felt like we were being rushed but also well tended to. Will be back soon! PS The mussels were massive and soooo good.

Joe’s Italian – Ladera Ranch
Joe’s Italian in Ladera Ranch has quickly become one of my new favorites, and that’s saying something, because I haven’t even had the chance to try the food yet. Their dirty vodka martini alone won me over. It’s easily one of the best I’ve had in South OC – perfectly chilled, perfectly balanced, and exactly what a good martini should be.
Friends keep telling me how incredible the food is, and the menu definitely backs that up. They have a great happy hour lineup, and I love that they offer gluten-free pasta options on the regular menu. It’s not always easy to find an authentic Italian spot that takes dietary needs seriously, and Joe’s seems to nail it.
The whole place has that warm, classic Italian vibe – cozy, inviting, and ideal for lingering with a drink or planning a date night or family dinner.
I can’t wait to go back and finally try the food, but judging by everything I’ve seen (and tasted), Joe’s Italian is already an easy recommendation.

Finally found a restaurant that reminds me of all the good pizza and Italian dishes that we miss after moving from NY to CA. Highly recommend to all. Delicious food, casual atmosphere and friendly service with indoor or outdoor seating. One side of establishment is more devoted to drinks and appetizers while other side has sit down tables which works well. TVs on walls can be enjoyed by sports enthusiasts. Had a great time and will keep coming back.

Absolute legendary! The best Italian food in Orange County. They poor fat drinks. The servers all know us by name and they always make our night better.
I really recommend the seafood pastas, the baked pastas especially the cannelloni, lasagna is great, the Lina rolls are must try. But every-time I go here I find another gem.
What I really appreciate about this place is the awesome atmosphere everyone is happy and having a good time. You can smell the quality of ingredients as soon as you walk in. Everything is made from scratch with love and high quality cheeses, tomatoes, breads etc.
Joe’s Italian is batting a 1000 ! And that’s why it’s my favorite restaurant.
