They’re happy hour food menu is the best in town 3-6 Nicole and I (Michelle) frequent this place #1 The food is spectacular!! #2 Staff is awesome, The manager Matt, rocks!! He’s so kind makes everything goes so smoothly. Cruz is the best!! Really all the staff has been spectacular, in today’s time where some restaurants don’t know how to treat their customers, you will not find that problem here they are really great!! Matt You’re a great asset to this restaurant! Nicole and I can’t wait to check out the one in Point Loma!!
The seared Ahi appetizer was absolutely amazing. I was shocked at how big the French dip is, I added the house made chips. It was absolutely fantastic. Kiddo had the tavern bowl with steak. I snuck a bite, and it was delicious.
I got The Bubba breakfast sandwich. It was ok. As is typical for biscuits, they were quite dry. The chicken was not flavorful. The egg was perfectly over easy, and the bacon was good. But overall it was impossible to pick up and eat while also not having enough gravy to add flavor to everything. The tater tots were good, and there were a LOT of them, but they didn’t stand out from the frozen variety. The service was pretty good, but our server did not ask about refilling the waters at our table
Came for Happy Hour. The cocktails, calamari, and Brussels sprouts were fantastic! Very fresh and flavorful. Our server was helpful and very sweet. The inside looks so much cooler than I expected. Really nice design style. We’ll definitely be back, especially in summer when they have the garage door/windows open to the fresh sea air!
Solid choice for lunch. Chicken was the highlight. Had the chicken and waffles. Crispy chicken, solid waffle, gravy and maple syrup. It all came together really well. The bacon was a bit on the smokey side for my taste, but was nice and crispy. Service and atmosphere were delightful.
