I needed to have both of my lower wisdom teeth removed, and since I had never had any kind of tooth extraction or surgery before, I was extremely nervous.
From the moment I walked into Honest Oral Surgeon, the staff made me feel at ease. They were professional, friendly, and very patient. After taking my X-rays, they carefully explained everything to me and answered all my questions. I also watched a pre-procedure instruction video, which helped me understand what to expect.
When I met Dr. Kim, he was professional, clear, and straightforward. He explained my treatment options concisely and also pointed out potential risks related to my other teeth. After discussing everything together, we decided to take a conservative approach — remove the wisdom teeth first and monitor the other teeth to see if they could recover over time. I really appreciated being involved in the decision-making process.
The surgery itself was excellent. It was my first time receiving anesthesia and having teeth extracted, and I can honestly say I felt absolutely no discomfort. Dr. Kim removed both wisdom teeth efficiently and skillfully. (Yes, I could hear the drill and some hammering sounds — which was a little funny — but I felt zero pain.)
After the procedure, I followed the instructions carefully, took the prescribed medication, and applied ice as recommended. It’s now the second day, and I have no pain at all — not even noticeable swelling.
This is actually the longest review I’ve ever written, but I truly felt it was deserved. I highly recommend Honest Oral Surgeon and Dr. Kim to anyone who needs oral surgery.

Dr. Kim did an excellent job removing all four of my son’s wisdom teeth. He immediately made my son feel comfortable, completed the procedure in about 45 minutes, and was very thorough with aftercare instructions. My son has minimal swelling and is recovering beautifully, which speaks to Dr. Kim’s skill and care. We felt completely at ease and would absolutely recommend him.

I really appreciate Dr Kim and the nurses and front desk staff.
It's been 5 days since my teeth extraction and implant.
My teeth was infected and there was a serious pain at the start.
The surgery ended very quickly.
The teeth extraction and implant were all done in about 30min.
Dr.Kim's hands were very steady during the injection of my local anesthesia. I was not nervous during my surgery at all.
The nurses were also very kind.
After surgery, I have no swelling and pain.
Dr Kim's hands skill as a doctor is excellent.

I was very nervous about taking out my wisdom teeth — I was scheduled to take out all four at one time, all four were impacted, and one tooth had grown its roots into the nerve of my jaw. But the staff at this office helped me feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the process from my consultation to the actual surgery, and they communicated very transparently with me.
The actual surgery went extremely smoothly and quickly, and I woke up with barely any swelling. People who saw me had to be reminded that I’d taken out my wisdom teeth that morning because I looked so normal. I felt barely any pain in the first day, but I’d heard that the second and third days are usually the worst because the anesthesia wears off. This is now my third day out from surgery, and I still haven’t experienced the terrible pain I’d heard horror stories about. I’m very, very thankful to Dr. Kim and the staff at Honest Oral Surgeon for their great work!!

Dr. Eric Kim and his staff are amazing!! They definitely deserve 5 stars. They were so accommodating and able to get my mom in right away for consultation and everyone was so kind. They treated my mom so well and they were so efficient. Dr. Kim explained everything and put her mind at ease. There was no pain during the procedures and she felt very comfortable. I would highly recommend this office to anyone!!!
