**4.5/5 🌟🌟🌟🌟✨ Griffin's Brea: Neighborhood Charm with Casual LA Vibes** Tucked in the heart of Brea's Birch Street Promenade, **Griffin's** feels like your quintessential **neighborhood restaurant**—the kind of place where locals pop in for a relaxed meal without the fuss 🍽️🏙️. The **location felt like I was in LA**: urban stroll vibes with nearby shops, outdoor seating under string lights, and that easygoing SoCal energy. It's **casual dining** at its best—jeans and T-shirt friendly, with a menu of American classics like burgers, salads, and pasta served in a cozy, brick-walled space that buzzes with conversation. **Service was friendly**—waitstaff greeted us warmly, took orders efficiently, and kept waters refilled without hovering. The **convenient location** is a huge plus: walking distance from the Improv or movies, with validated parking in the nearby garage making it hassle-free for a quick dinner. Ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and Caesar salad—both arrived promptly and looked appetizing. Portions were generous, and the flavors were solid comfort food: fresh greens, tender chicken, and a decent house dressing. That said, deductions bring it down a notch. The **food was average**—tasty but nothing memorable, lacking that wow factor in seasoning or presentation. **Parking** can be tricky on busy nights (the garage fills up fast), and overall, **nothing stood out** to make it a standout in Orange County's crowded dining scene—it's reliable, but not destination-worthy. Still, Griffin's earns a strong 4.5 for being a welcoming neighborhood spot with casual LA charm and convenience. It's the perfect low-key hang when you're in Brea and want something familiar. I'll be back for a casual bite, but won't rush over from afar.

Griffins were carved at entrances of buildings to protect what matters most, and at Griffin's it's clear that what matters most are the friends and family gathering inside it's walls to experience mouth-watering creatively constructed dishes unlike anything else you've experienced. The mood lighting is enough to still clearly read an impressive menu. Select many and share family style is my recommendation because you don't want to miss a thing from their rotating menu! Unique drinks are a must (looking at you My Middle Name is Danger) but the wine selection is also fantastic. Deep reds and warm woods surround you in a friendly space where patience and great service abounds. Whether you live in SoCal or are just passing through, I highly recommend feasting at Griffin's.

Been there twice the last 2 weeks and we had such a great experience. All the food we ordered was very flavorful, and the we ordered a large variety. Was told that they change their menu every 3-4 mos. The Winter Old Fashioned with smoked cinnamon was a hit!

Its Valentines day and my lame husband didnt make dinner reservations. He soon redeemed himself after he took me to griffins and there was a spot at the bar open for us. Im so glad. We met the dynamic duo Nick and Jose. The drinks were fire. I never had to ask for anything because the service was amazing. I had the wagyu burger and hubby had shrimp tacos, and you cant go wrong either way. Both plates were yummy. They served complimentary chocolate strawberries for valentines ,really cute. Overall I never thought the bar was the place I wanted to be on Valentines, but I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. This restaurant will now be in our places to choose from on date night. Nick and Jose brought the vibe and im so glad.

We had amazing food at Griffin's last night and I give them 5 stars! Our server and staff was amazing! We made reservations and I would recommend it if you are a late diner. We at the burrata, patatas bravas, shrimp tacos (our ultimate favorite) and lastly the meatballs (beef and pork). The sauces were excellent on all the foods and the shrimp tacos were the best I've ever had. I am not easy to impress, so when I give 5-stars, it's serious. I ordered the Cats Meowtside cocktail and it was excellent! We will be going back for our 15 year anniversary next month and we hope to try a desert. We sat inside and not on the patio. We parked across the street in the free parking structure. Thanks for a genuine experience Mr. Griffin!
